Hello everybody! Count me In. I started Lightning my eyes today, and my eyes are so relieved. I sit on the computer alot everyday so my eyes hurt me. My mixture was : 2teaspoons Raw Honey, 5teaspoons of water, Drops of lemon juice.

When I first put it in my eyes, it burnt like hell lol! but then it was just a tingly sensation and I felt sudden relief. I did it like 5 times, I liked the burn.

Okay I'm weird, Don't judge.

But I want Hazel eyes. my eyes are this medium brown color, sometimes light. I won't stop until I reach my desired color. But I will rinse my eyes with water after 5 hours of the honey drop, my eyes just feel a little sticky afterwards, I probably put too much honey.

After 1 month of doing this, I will start using Chamomile Big Grin Wish me luck.

and Oh, Do you know this little thing they use for Infants to feed them medicine? I got an extra one, and It's perfect for putting the drops in your eyes Tongue Just remember to rinse it with boiling water and letting it cool, you probably don't want to Microwave your Eyes.

^ Welcome! Glad to have you on board for the challenge!

Maybe I'll try adding lemon, because this honey mixture doesn't burn at all.
I used it three times last night, and then again this morning. Last night my eyes seemed to dry out after I put the drops in, but I also was a bit dehydrated, so I'm not gonna blame the drops. This morning I put in some drops, waited a few minutes, then put in some contacts lens solution drops, and put my contacts in. They went in even less painfully then they normally do! What a surprise! And the whites of my eyes are already starting to brighten some. They're less red around where my contacts usually sit.

Oh, I'm so excited, I can't wait to have lighter eyes by summer! I hope it's true that browns lighten a lot faster than greens and blues. If that's the case and my brown in my eyes lighten, I may very well have green eyes by summer!

Still haven't gotten a cleanse kit yet. I should get one soon. I'm almost over this cold and that'll probably help push it right outta me!
My eyes have gone up a shade Smile I'm now at a deep chestnut color. Kinda cute actually. Making a new [stronger] batch now!

Oh and I noticed that my old mixture had a smell after leaving it sitting for a week -> hydrogen peroxide smell. So I'm going to leave this mixture for a week, see if there's a hydrogen peroxide smell or not and if there is, use it!

@SyrianP

Good luck with the lemon mix! Smile
Hey there just looking at your eyes. Have you notice stress lines (or lighter colored lines) showing up on you eyes?

I've been lighteninng for almost a year, I took like a couple months off. I used honey/chamomile soaked with distilled water. And in another bottle msm/distilled water sometime I even used fresh lemon with the msm powder. Ill post pics when I figure it out when I'm not on my phone heheh
I've read here several times that brown eyes lighten more quickly than green or blue eyes, but I don't understand how would that make sense.
The science says there is no blue or green pigment, the color of the eyes would be blue if there is no or very little melanin and the blue color comes from the reflexion of the light-similar effect as the blue color of the sky. With little more melanin you get green color, with some more light brown, even more dark brown and black.

So in green eyes is the concentration of melanin smaller, so my logic would be that it lightens faster, because there is simply less melanin to get "rid off"

doesn't that make more sense?
@Doll I hope You get green eyes by summer.
My eyes felt dry too, but to re-hydrate them, I took another bottle and put some Pure water in it, and after applying the drops and waiting for 2 hours, I spritzed my eyes with water and they felt hydrated again. Big Grin

@Emily Can you post a picture of your eyes now? I'm excited to see them!
I'd like to thank you so much for this thread, I was planning on starting in the summer, But when I saw you guys I registered and started my Journey.

Thank you all very much Blush!

has anyone attempted to lighten blue eyes then? I have dark blue eyes, id love a lighter shade of blue...but I couldnt bring myself to put lemon or honey in my eyes... Id like to try msm drops but I heard msm can cause allergic reactions to people with nut/peanut allergies...not sure how true that is though. Are there any other methods?

We don't put alot of Lemon, just one drop of lemon is enough. Honey is an antibacterial, people use honey for everything. Hair, Skin, Eyes, They drink it, they put it on wounds. it's known for it's Anti-bacterial properties, that's why natural/raw honey doesn't have an expiry date.

I was scared aswell in the beginning, but then I decided to give it a try. My eyes felt so clean, so I think you should give it a go.

You can do some re-search in the matter.

And the Mixture is 1 Teaspoon of honey mixed with 3/4 Teaspoons of water and drops of Lemon. Put them in a spritz bottle and spray your eyes every 30 minutes or so. You'll get results faster Smile

But You can use Chamomile tea aswell, But the results will be slower.
thank you Smile
Might actually wait until my next cycle to begin a cleanse. Idk yet, depends on which one I decide to get.

So, I looked very closely at my eyes last night, and the green part actually looks like a mix of green, blue AND grey. So...I'm no longer sure what colour my eyes will be if they lighten. Haha! ^^; My dad's eyes are bright blue, but other than that I think everyone else in our family has had dark brown eyes, so it's impossible to say. >:/
I guess we'll have to just find out!

I need to get a small bottle of contact solution to keep my eyes moist during the day when I can't do drops, otherwise I end up having to take them out too early (and quite painfully). Also might buy some Lutein for eye health; it's on sale at Vitamin Shoppe until Sunday!
