I dont know if ill be much help, but when i started i got the same thing. For me, i dicovered that i put too much honey in my mix. Try maybe lessining down a bit on the ingredients. If it still reacts that way either change whatever is inside (unless you are allergic to something) or just stop it all together. It can be possible you can get an eye infection. So be careful. Smile

ouch, maybe you should add water. It helps a whole lot and wont burn as much. it will also not show your viens. It may sting a little, but it works, and be careful how much honey you use. Im not really a good advice giver but hope this advice is helpful to you. Smile
Yes, my eyes has always been dark. So the lightening definitely works. I originally said I was only going to 6 mnts. But I think I'm a go for a year. I font want anything drastic like grey or blue eyes. Just light brown Smile I'll be happy with that...

My name is Valerie and I found this forum just by chance and congratulations to everyone who have been successful with their eyes being lightened with honey. My mixture is two tablespoons of water, one tea bag of Chamomile tea. Boil together for a few minutes, then cool then add 1 tablespoon of honey. The honey I use is Holland and Barratt organic wild-flower honey. I have added the mixture slightly warm or cool as I do store in the fridge. There is a lightening of my eyes. The first picture I started on 10th March and this is the result of today 23rd March.

Amazing job, i really see improvement they look great. Smile What color are you amimng for. Smile
Iv been really wanting to try this I have brown eyes and have been really wanting to try the eye drops! I'm just so confused on how to make it! I know you need raw honey water and lemon juice but how much do we put in of each of the ingredients. People are saying one part this but what is exactly a part? A tsp a regular spoon? How long do we boil for? I haven't been able to find the exact instructions to how to make it exactly I don't want to just dump a bunch of stuff together and dump it in my eyes haha
Hi everyone,
I love your site it is very informative also. Thank you!
I would like to share some information that will probably help you all with your eye lightening process. I came across this site last night about honey. It turns out that a form of hydrogen peroxide actually forms in honey (it has to be diluted with distilled water), meaning it can be use as a lightener, too! It’s a slightly more complicated process, and is not used with heat, like lemon. For more information, here is an informative post on using honey as a lightener. Interestingly enough, cinnamon can be used with honey to help the lightening process. This is for your hair, if you want to lighten it naturally..http://simplehomemade.net/lightening-hair-naturally/. Distilled water is recommended to be used for honey lightening in place of tap water. It is a better choice, for getting the best results from a honey lightening recipe because of its pH (7) and hydrogen peroxide can decompose in contact with certain minerals. Some tap waters are the exception and have been reported to be fine for honey lightening. More information on distilled water can be found in here.No external heat should be used with honey lightening. Do not use a blow dryer or sunlight. None of the recipe ingredients should be heated at any time. Heat (except body heat) can destroy hydrogen peroxide by decomposing it to water and oxygen. The peroxide produced by honey is not stabilized the way conventional peroxide is and is much more delicate because of that. It depends on the degree of heat and the amount of time that it is applied to it. Pasteurization does not destroy the enzyme in honey (glucose oxidase) that generates the peroxide.Store your honey, ground spices and oils away from heat, light and moisture, at room temperature, in a cupboard, preferably. Opened oils can be refrigerated.Jarrah honey from Australia is known for its very high peroxide value and is a good choice for honey lightening. Information on Jarrah honey and current suppliers can be found here. please look at this site also http://www.abc.net.au/rural/news/stories...1.htm-info about jarrah honey. this site sell Jarrah honey http://www.beesneez.com.au/price-list.html and so do amazon.com. Jarrah honey is #1 please visit this site http://www.jarrahhoneyusa.com/about-jarrah-2/.
You can not heat this honey just mix with distilled water.

Natural Healing Honey
Jarrah Honey Actvie TA 10+, produced from Western Australia’s unique Jarrah tree in the state’s southwest, has naturally high antibacterial activity*. Jarrah honey has significantly higher activity levels than Manuka honey from New Zealand, which is also strongly antibacterial*. The antibacterial activity of honey primarily comes from the presence of hydrogen peroxide generated by and enzymatic activity called glucose oxidase*.

just thought I will share this information with you guys.

To the most i can give you is 1 teaspoon of honey and 3/4 teaspoons of water. I normally boil a huge pot at first and i bring the water to its boiling point. Then i use measuring spoons to measure this out. And i put it in a small container, and let it cool. I hope this was helpful. Smile
