I'm really annoyed that they only tested my testosterone. I clearly said "my hormones" when I requested the test and the doctor pared it down to just testosterone because the main symptom I was mentioning to indicate an imbalance seemed like a "too much testosterone" problem. I didn't know blood tests weren't that reliable. Thanks for sharing. I wonder where I can get a saliva test done. Bet it's too expensive for me.
Aww bb, that sucks. I hope it's not too expensive for you to get a saliva test done!
Thanks, Katana. I might try just straight out asking my doctor about a saliva test. Can't hurt. I have to see her at the end of the month, so I'll do it then.

That's the problem saliva tests aren't funded and heaven forbid Drs offer a test that would ACTUALLY be accurate. Problem is I imagine the costs involved because even if I do a saliva test it flys overs ease to get anaylsis and the turnaround is a whole month! And yeh they are costly !
That's why my theory was take safe adaptogen a and hope for the best....
I think I'm still going to ask her. I figured I couldn't get one at the clinic, but maybe she knows how I can go about getting one. My hopes aren't high, but at least I'm covering all my bases.

That being said, I'm pretty sure my testosterone and estrogen levels are too high. Not sure how to proceed.

Aw i'm sorry for you, stupid docs....hope you can afford a saliva test...I've been looking to do one for a long time but they are 140 euro's!!! So thats really a lot of money:S I can buy almostly a 4 month program of supplements from that..
140 euros?! That's crazy! If they're that expensive here, I'll definitely skip it until I'm better off!

Today's intake:
90 ounces of water
Breakfast - An apple, oatmeal with walnut pieces, a green smoothie
Lunch - Salad with avocado and hummus, a beef brat in wheat bread with onion, mustard, and ketchup, a tortilla with a cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, pinto beans, and salsa filling cooked and served with guacamole and plain yogurt, hot green tea
Dinner - Homemade fried rice (wasn't really even fried, more like lightly warmed in a pan) with orange chicken, then with beef and broccoli stir-fry, then with sweet & sour chicken, hot green tea

Man am I glad I have a fast metabolism. God bless.

I took a multivitamin, cod liver oil, vitamin C, a probiotic, and folic acid.

My breasts are crazy sensitive today! When I massage them, I can feel it in my ribs. And my nipples were outright tormenting me. I actually at one point just completely freed both breasts when I was by myself so they weren't pressing up against any fabric. There's all sorts of itchy and painful sensations going on in them. They look really pretty, though. Perky and close together and round.
Today's intake:
72 ounces of water
Breakfast - A green smoothie and oatmeal with walnut pieces
Lunch - Salad with hummus, 2 beef brats in wheat bread with onion, ketchup, and mustard, orange and sweet & sour chicken with homemade fried rice, hot green tea, 2 pieces of 72% dark chocolate
Dinner - A chicken enchilada with plain yogurt and guacamole, hot green tea
Supplements - Multivitamin, vitamin C, cod liver oil, probiotic, folic acid

I've gotten wary of my avocado protein smoothie, but I need to have it at least three times a week. Monday is definitely a day it's required, since I fast until evening.

Luteal swelling going strong right now. I wish my breasts stayed like this all the time. Minus the tenderness.
Today's intake:
64 ounces of water
Breakfast - A banana, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs with ketchup, hot green tea
Lunch - Asiago creamed spinach mixed with green beans, a beef brat in wheat bread with onion, ketchup, and mustard, homemade fried rice with orange and sweet & sour chicken, hot green tea, 2 pieces of 85% cacao dark chocolate
Dinner - A burger, two cheese curds, a few fries, some sips of lemonade, two gummy bears that my nephew insisted on feeding me
Supplements - Skin, Hair, & Nails supplement, vitamin C, cod liver oil, probiotic

Not the best intake today because of family coming to visit. So there was a combo of trying to clean out the fridge by eating up certain things and then, of course, going out to eat.

When I press down on the right side of my stomach, it hurts. I hope I'm not messing something up internally somehow.

My skin also looks not only a little pimply, but worn down and tired, even though I've been really good about my water intake and I've been eating a lot of vegetables this week. It seems like ever since I've been trying to eat a little healthier, I've had nothing but bad results...

I found a "meat gathering" bra at the bottom of my bra drawer! I remember ordering it, bit I thought I'd gotten rid of it. I put it on and scooped all the fat and tissue I could into it, admired the effect, then took it off. To my surprise, it seemed like the added volume stayed in my breasts for a little while after! Now I really want to get one that fits properly, but I have to earn it first.
