Thanks P, you're totallly right.. I ''interpetated'' the numbers totally wrong!

But now I get it.....I dont HAVE 9,5% fat, its the ratio that makes me low in fat and high in muscle...Ill explain......

If I would have had less muscle then my fat(WITHOUT gaining) would automatically be higher(very logical, but the light have to go on first)

This way you can see a picture off somebody with 21% fat more then I have looking skinnier then me with my 9,5% fat. I probably have thicker/stronger muscles.. which when the girl in the picture loses that muscle will automatically make her higher in fat percentage...

So this is only good....muscles are the first that will repair when you've been eating to little for a LONG period.Your body will first burn up your fat deposits when it looses weight...... So this scale is telling me that I now gained enough muscle back..... This means that whatever I did......healthy eating, lots off proteins... Is now no longer needed....I have other needs now.....I try to sculpt my body back...and I see enough muscle. I think off a very bad unhealthy fatty diet...with pies and muffins and mayonaise whatever is needed to only gain fat from now on. I need to rethink my diet....But I might cut back on fruits for a little while etc....Its now time to get curves....
Unfortunately, what we LOOK like isn't very helpful.
Your body can lose 20 pounds in a matter of days; it's all water weight. You then re-hydrate and it all comes back.

We need to do body fat measurements. I like the electronic form, it's easy and a one-time cost (and no embarrassment allowing others to see the number.)

Body calipers are more accurate, though.

Figure if you're under 5%, you've got a problem; if you're over 25-30% for women, you have a problem. Women should be around 20% BF.

No, I'm not telling you mine. Angry

Hi, Hannah,
There's an old article on T-Nation that claims the best form of non-surgical gender reassignment one can do is jogging.... ;-)

Long, Slow, Distance, basically.

It'll break down the muscle, that's for sure. then you can modulate how the muscle is repaired. E.G., hip thrusts and squats and sprints for strength, followed by protein drink. Next day, jogging for hours, no protein afterwards, maybe even delay eating to allow catabolism to occur.

Building hip and butt, and then breaking down the rest of the body. Might work - no studies done to date.

Maybe AbiDrew has some ideas? She was using a catabolic nutrition plan a while back...

Yeh the water weight is crazy, I was on the ''diane'' pil(BCP) thats one nasty pill full of estrogen if Im not wrong and it made me gain KILO's in no time..puffy face too, when I stopped the pil I lost about 7 maybe even 8 Kgs, my face got slim again butt went away too.

Anyhow Im just skinny but wel proportioned, normal muscles(slim arm muscles though) and little fatty layer....But I want to increase my fat.....I should be higher in the fatty chart, seeing 9,5% at my age is way too low...they dont even mention such number in ''lean '' it starts off with 11% for women.

Woah you must have had some nice curves though if you were 7kgs more. I would have liked to have seen that. My highest was 63kgs for a short time and people kept telling me how healthy I looked, even got asked if is had a boob job!

That's interesting I never knew that. When I drink a lot of water I can weigh 60kgs by the end of the day instead of 58 however... I feel soo bloated. Do you think you can drink too much water, ie you see my frame in my avatar , is it possible I drink too much when I try to go for two litres a day even when I don't feel like it?

I usually don't feel to drink a lot of water. I get most of my water from my tea and 8 oz. cup coffee, my morning coconut/almond water. I probably do not drink more than 2 cups of water a day. Because I don't feel like it. And again I go by my feeling.

Actually, it's possible to die from drinking too much water. You wash out the salts needed to think and keep the brain going, and your body shuts down.
Not a normal occurrence, you need to be working to accomplish it. ;-)

So if you're worried about that, don't be. If you're just curious, the answer is yes. ;-)

Hmmmm got ya. Yeh I often shovel glass after glass of water down me and yet I DOnt pee it out so I think to myself "where's all this fluid going!"... In my intestines and ever expanding tummy I guess..
I actually learned this at the gym I go to! one of the trainers there has pictures on the wall from when he used to compete in body building and I commented that he looked so tight-- like in his skin, too. & he said that they dehydrate themselves so that their skin sticks to their muscles and it gives them a more defined look! I was like :o #themoreyouknow lol
