I was wondering if Nettle would be helpful for NBE or not. It's supposed to be a dht blocker, but I've also read that it is an aromatase inhibitor? Has anyone used it and experienced any benefits?

My breasts respond real well to fenugreek. (Unfortunately my ass stomach and hips do also.) they swell up every time I take them (before deflating down a little). I wanted to start a pill with my subliminal regimine to help my body along. Though I know fenugreek works great, would it be more beneficial if I bought a prenatal multi with shake instead since it has a bunch of other thing in it.

Fenugreek and the Thyroid

Hi, this is my first post, I’m Izzy. I’ve been lurking a while and haven’t found a discussion on the thyroid-interfering effects of fenugreek.
I know the lovely TibetanPrincess has Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and had a negative experience with NBE herbs. I also have Hashimoto’s, so the thyroid is of personal interest to me.

However, even if you don’t have thyroid issues, this is relevant. Women are much more prone to thyroid issues than men. The thyroid affects every part of the body and can definitely interfere with one’s NBE journey if levels are amiss. Fenugreek is a commonly used NBE herb.
This post is separated into
-Quick primer on thyroid hormones
-Fenugreek’s effect on thyroid hormones, study
-Conclusion

Quick primer on thyroid hormones for those who need it:

There are two thyroid hormones, thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3).

T4 is a pro-hormone, meaning it’s a precursor to another hormone. The body processes T4 into T3.

T4 is a much weaker thyroid hormone than T3.
T4 can be converted to T3 in the thyroid (intrathyroidal conversion) or in other organs such as the liver, kidneys, and muscles (peripheral conversion). 80% of T4 → T3 conversion is peripheral.
Thyroid hormones (TH) can either be bound, by thyroxine-binding proteins, or free in the blood (free TH). Free TH is the active form, it can travel through the blood, around the body, and into cells.
Ordinarily, 99.97 percent of thyroid hormone is bound, whilst 0.03% is free and active.
Certain chemicals can regulate amounts of thyroxine-binding proteins, altering your ratio of bound and free TH.
Estrogen increases thyroxine-binding proteins. Testosterone, on the other hand, decreases thyroxine-binding proteins. Simply put, thyroxine-binding proteins up↑ = free TH down↓. Thyroxine-binding proteins down↓ = free TH up↑.
Your total thyroid hormone still remains the same.
TSH – Thyroid stimulating hormone, TSH, tells your body to produce more thyroid hormones.

If you are hypothyroid, your doctor has most likely put you on a synthetic form of T4, expecting your body to convert enough of it to T3. To be healthy, you need appropriate levels of both T4 and T3.

Fenugreek
Study:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/ar...1899905108
PANDA, S., TAHILIANI, P. and KAR, A., 1999. INHIBITION OF TRIIODOTHYRONINE PRODUCTION BY FENUGREEK SEED EXTRACT IN MICE AND RATS. Pharmacological Research, 40(5), pp.405-409.
Relevant extracts and graph:
“From the results, it is evident that fenugreek seed extract decreases serum T3 concentration both in mice and rats. The significant decrease in serum T3 concentration following the administration of fenugreek seed extract indicates that T3 synthesis is inhibited by the plant extract.
It therefore appears that, in the present study, decreased serum T3 concentrations following the seed extract administration may be the result of the inhibition in peripheral conversion of T4 to T3 in extrathyroidal tissues. This is further evidenced by a decreased T3:T4 ratio in treated mice and rats. Of course the possibility that fenugreek seed extract also decreases intrathyroidal conversion of T4 to T3 cannot be ruled out. Interestingly T4 concentration was found to be more in treated animals. This is understandable, as it is known that T4 acts as a prohormone or substrate for T3 formation and obviously its availability in circulation is expected to be more when T4to T3 conversion becomes less.

Hello my dears,
I have been looking at NBV again lately. And would now have the following idea or questions about it: I would like to take the following:
Red clover 920 mg + fennel 500 mg

Here are my questions: Is it really important to adjust the income to the cycle? Because from day 15 I read that one tends to go away from estrogen and go towards progesterone. Do you really have to switch to achieve success?
This combination would therefore make sense:

Day 1 - 15 fennel + red clover
From day 16 yam (or another?)
Do I understand it right?

Many thanks for your help!!

Hi guys,

About 4 years ago when I first got into NBE, I discovered this website and have mostly been a silent lurker. About 2 years ago, things changed and my NBE game took a back seat. While I was actively into it though, I definitely saw results, albeit not huge, but they were permanent. I started with a 34A, and am now a comfortable 34B.

So now, on to my decade-long struggle with irregular periods. I'm 24, and have always had irregular menstrual cycle. No issues with PCOS, no BC - it was just always out of whack. Tried a lot of things. Vitex seemed to work really well, but once I ran out of one bottle, I didn't really repurchase because once I started PM (just once a day), I noticed I started getting my periods on time, and by time, I mean like clockwork. However, it's come at a steep price of hormonal acne and occasional PMS. I've never had either before. Acne, yes; hormonal acne, no.

So yeah, that's where I am now. Though PM has regulated my cycle, it seems to only sporadically work for my NBE (not sure if that's normal?). Some months, it causes swelling and my boobs seem to go up half a cup, only for them to deflate the following month and go down to what looks like 34A to me right now Sad

Btw, I do cycle PM (stop using it once period starts), and some days I miss it when I feel like it's not doing anything.

I'd really appreciate some insight by my better informed fellow readers into what may be happening, and why I'm not seeing any results with PM for NBE anymore.

Thanks!

I used herbal supplements with minimal dosage and cycling for three or four months. The other day, I noticed several moles on my body had increased in size and became darker significantly. These moles had not grown for years. Now some of them look suspicious because of the size and shape,

If you have moles, be very cautious about hormonal herbs. I should have paid attention earlier... Now I quit my supplements and hopefully these moles stop changing.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for my situation.

Has anyone had success with herbs and then been able to keep your growth after stopping them?

A little about me, I am 31yo and have been trying various forms of NBE for a few years now. Most of my attempts have been centered around herbs that are also considered galactogogues. For anyone who is not familiar, galactogogues are supplements that increase breast milk production. I know prolactin is actually bad for NBE but I don't believe any of the galactogogues actually increase prolactin (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though). I believe there isn't much research in galactogoues so the mechanism by which they actually do increase breast milk is unknown.

Common galactogogues are: Fenugreek, fennel, blessed thistle, nettle, goat's rue, shatavari, moringa, and flaxseed.

I have tried most of the galactogogues for at least a few months, and I would notice just a little bit of growth (1 cup size at most). But after stopping, the growth would always shrink back down. I used a bunch of the herbs I listed above for almost a full year, then slowly started weaning the dose, but ultimately, once I stopped, my modest growth all went down the drain. Even while I was using the herbs my size would sometimes suddenly go back down out of nowhere.

My theory based on my personal experience is that maybe these things work as a galactogogue because they pull water into the breasts (which could help increase breast milk content). So maybe they make breasts bigger because they are swollen, but ultimately those kind of effects cannot last permanently. Eventually the swelling goes down.

What are other people's experiences? How long do you have to use these things to get permanent growth? I would like to avoid BO + PM if possible (I might give in and try them someday though...)

I just started re-taking some galactogogues, but this time I am also taking vitamin D & MSM. I'm also planning on using progesterone cream during the luteal phase (cycling PC). I am going to try this for at least 3 months and see where I get.

So I am super new to NBE, have been lurking through the forums trying to understand all the info provided but I need a bit of help.

I am female, currently 105 lbs, 23, + 30C but run more along looking like your idea of a tubular 32a. I measured myself out to find out my "true" bra size through the r/abrathatfits size calculator and was shook finding out I am a c-cup. My boobs seriously look like the ones in my avatar. I can post pics later of my breasts if I see significant progress but will hold back on that for now.

In my initial research before finding out about BreastNexus through a different reddit forum, all articles + sites pointed me to Maca and Fenugreek so I'm currently taking:

-Oregon's Wild Harvest Fenugreek (2 caps at random times in the day, each cap=1500mg)

-NutraChamps Organic Maca(1-2 caps depending on my energy, each cap=500mg)

So I've been reading about how Pueraria Mirifica needs to be cycled so that it doesn't mess up the menses and I still have trouble understanding what in particular needs to be taken during luteal, follicular, + ovulation phases. Because it seems both men & women had success with PM I still feel quite confident that some growth will come and I was reading in a lot of different forums that MSM will help the PM synthesize collagen into the breasts or desired fat areas with exercise. I am slightly underweight so I have been tracking my diet as of recently to take in more healthy calories and fats and in the past week have been averaging 2,636 cals daily so yes, I have been creating an environment where the PM has some fat/carbs to grab from as I know it won't help me magically grow without putting some work/food in.

The brands that I am adding to my routine are:

-Rachaa Pueraria Mirifica (splitting a 500 mg capsule into two to take a 250 mg dose in AM + PM)

-Jarrow Formulas Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane (one 1,000 mg capsule at any point in the day?)

So because I know high doses right away of PM mess people's hormones up badly, I am starting off with one 500 mg capsule split in half for this first week, I started early as I am on the 4th day of my period but I just got too excited when I received the PM in the mail today and want to wean my body into what PM is bringing. I plan to take 500 mg of PM for the next 7-10 days, taking a 250 mg capsule in the morning and night. Then I will stop with the PM for 7 days, and then take it for 7 days again, and so on. But at that point maybe just take the 500 mg all at once instead of splitting it up. I'm also likely going to add:

-Solaray Vitamin C Cherry Chewable (250 mg, I read in several threads that Vitamin C helps the MSM do whatever it needs to better?)

This is what I think is right but I still have some v serious questions:

1. Do I abstain from taking Fenugreek while I am taking PM?

2. Should I take FG while I am not on PM?

3. Do any of these sound like they should not be taken together?

4. These dosages are what I believe are safe for me, I am pretty solid on the PM dosage but do any of the other supplements need higher dosages to be effective? (my BMI is 18.9 which is borderline average/underweight)

5. Should I be strict with my supplement schedule? I kind of just take them whenever I feel like in the day but if there is a better time to take any of these so they have max effectiveness, I'll follow your advice!

6. Should I take all other supplements continuously or should I cycle them as well?

7. I am open to taking PM continuously at my dosage as I know it's small but is that something any of you would recommend? I know I can also cycle by taking it 3 weeks on and 1 week off but I'm not sure if that would work better than what I have planned.

Hey everyone!

I'm new here so I'll quickly introduce myself..

I'm 22 f, when I was a teenager my breasts started to develop when I was like 16 or sth, to an A cup,

a year later I was having messed up periods and didn't know what was wrong until I finally got diagnosed with PCOS.. which apparently one of

its side effects is reduced size of breasts (ugh) so I guess that's when my breasts stopped growing, I grew a bit and now I'm more than an A cup but less

than a B cup..
