I have started doing that scissor leg exercise (I don't know what it is called) where you lie on your side and lift your upper leg up. I am using a text book as a weight, just resting it on my thigh. I really want to widen my hips a bit before I start getting more boobage! So hopefully that will help the muscles. I would really love it if my thighs actually touched in the middle, oh what a joy! I can just imagine how warm and cozy I would be in winter Blush

I can completely relate, as both of my boyfriends in the past wanted me to either lose weight or gain weight... the last boyfriend I had never paid me compliments (maybe once a year--he believed that if he complimented me on something once, that he wouldn't ever have to compliment me on that ever again--and he didn't believe in ever telling me that I looked nice "because you should know that you look nice"). I got out of my slump when I was able to find my confidence internally, when I was able to love myself. So, you're on the right track Wink

Guess I should just double up. As for the Boost drink, I do really like it - it isn't a very big bottle and is vitamin-packed. Sometimes I mix some of my protein powder into one just to double up the protein and raise the calories even more. And they actually taste okay too!

I actually realized that was a bad recommendation for you a few hours after I posted it and was away from the computer. The LGI diet is for a person (like me, mesomorph) who can gain fat moderately easily. I could if I REALLY tried and sat around and ate junk food all day (or ate high calorie foods all day long), but not as easily as some other, but certainly easier than you, from the way it sounds your body type is an ectomorph, which is why it is difficult for you to gain anything. In that case, throw the LGI out the window and just shoot for high calories!!! Eat as often as you can throughout the day, and eat LOTS of nuts! Nuts are very high in calories, and you know they have much nutritional value. But yeah I am aware the LGI foods are low in calories. The idea of a LGI/high calorie diet is that one would eat constantly throughout the day and maintain relatively level glucose levels. The more a person's glucose levels spike and drop, the more likely they are to storing the glucose as fat. If a person keeps it constant and level, the glucose will be more likely used as fuel and the calories from the glucose will either be used as fuel (instead of fat) or be used to feed the muscle. I don't think you need to be bothered with the need of avoiding fat, as you have difficulty gaining both fat and muscle. So the rule for you is simple. Eat as many calories as you can, as often as you can!

Yes. Keep your heart rate under or around 120 and you'll be fine!

I guess first thing's first I need to just walk through it and actually check it out. I just don't want to get onto a machine and only be able to last 5 minutes on it.
I really want my killer bod though..... Next time I go to the gym I am just going to say to hell with all the guys working their sexy muscles and check it out! I want sexy muscles toooo.

I am feeling a little overwhelmed, because I am beginning to realize that I have to work out all of my muscles, not just my ass and thighs. That seems like a lot of work, and I'm currently a weakling :s .

I guess you can go when there are less people in the gym. Honestly, no one will judge you for it, if they even care. I got a couple good laughs at myself when I was starting my upper body routine. I sat on a machine once and put too much weight on, got all set up to try it, and then as much as I pulled on the handle I couldn't move it an inch. I mean, I was really trying, it was obvious, and that machine wasn't budging. I must have looked ridiculous but, I kinda don't really care! Tongue And there have been other times where people come up to me and correct me on my form, and I suppose if I was sensitive I would be embarrassed, but my gut reaction is more "darn, can't believe I've been doing it wrong all this time... thank God I know the right way to do it now!!" They were trying to do me a favor. I never see anyone laugh at me or roll their eyes. People in the gym--although they look tough--are really just like you and me. They want to work for "curves" too! Which is why, just putting out the effort to try, they DO have respect for us... (unless for some strange reason you got yourself into a gym in a neighborhood where people are immature and conceited, then I wouldn't know what to tell you Dodgy ). Just remember that there is a first for everyone with everything. There was a time when those "guys working their sexy muscles" were learning for the first time, too! They'll just be respecting you to see you trying.

It's called the Side-Lying Hip Abduction. And yes, I agree! Sexy hips would looks great with your new boobs!! Wink

The weight of a book may be good enough resistance to build up your strength in that muscle and tone that area, but not enough to build. If you want to use that exact exercise and build later, you can use a barbell balanced on your leg with the weighed discs from the gym. Like this: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/HipA...ction.html . There will be no limit to the amount of weight you can put on that!! Cool For more exercises for widening the hips, see this link: http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/HipsWt.html and see post #82 on my curves program thread. And, to get your thighs to touch in the middle, you will need to do Side-Lying Hip Adductions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH2JadfVvA4 . Since you have access to the gym, I would STRONGLY recommend using the cable for these exercises (once you build up your strength enough) Cable Abductions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvnR8CDb4BU Cable Adductions: http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/de...-adduction . I find them to be the most effective and there is so much more potential with weight! There is also (always) the Adductor and Abductor Machines. You can do this a little more easily without having to worry about form, so I would recommend you do this now while you are still working on strength! Abductor Machine: http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/de...h-abductor Adductor Machine: http://www.probodybuilding.com/video/fem...ctions.php .

Good luck, girly! And about working out your whole body-- just take it one step at a time. As much as I was advised to do my whole body, I only did my lower body for over a year just to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Now that I got the gym routine down-pat and am comfortable with everything, I have added upper body to my routine. It is better to workout your whole body, but if it means you will be feeling overwhelmed, DON'T. Some is better than none at all! And I know if I felt pressured to workout my whole body at the beginning, that I would have soon quit everything altogether. So, do whatever you know you can now and only add from there later when you are ready!

My first serious boyfriend would always pay me the same "compliment" all the time which was that I "looked like a cute little boy". He was bisexual so he kinda meant it as a turn-on for him, but he was also a SERIOUS ASSHOLE who was messed up on all levels, so I am sure in some aspects he meant it as a jabbing insult as well. His opinion is dirt beneath my feet, in my opinion I looked more like a cute sex kitten. I rocked short hair. ;]

Sounds so simple yet so difficult at the same time .... I hate stuffing myself to be full, and I am not a snacker but I am fully committing to this! I went out and bought a mixed nut case. Before I wasn't fully committing, because I didn't want to overeat on days that I wasn't working out due to a fear of "getting fat" that I have been having to snuff out, and I wasn't getting anywhere gain-wise.

I have rounded up a friend who is going to go over to the weights section with me and scope it out. Thanks for all of those helpful links!! I haven't had a chance to check them out yet because I am trying not to fall behind in my classes, but I always seem to find the time to research my own hobbies in there too so I should hopefully be all read up with those by the end of the week!

Going to take it sloooww. Not too slow. Wink
Okay I guess I am ready to post my current / before pic.... **Freakout!!** My first naked pic given to anyone, I am giving to the internet. Its sort of a big step haha.

Last night I went to a party and danced with a sexy black guy who is on the university football team. Omg. I could NOT believe his muscles!!!! I have never ever ever felt muscles like that before. The guy is a player, I hope he works out at the gym so I can start a teasing game mwahahahhhaa I'm so nice ;] He was fit. Especially feeling his muscles in his back, just such a turn onnn. Like nothing I've ever felt before haa. In the past I always found muscular men to be a little bit intimidating but now I have had a taste for it. But that guy ended up ditching me when I was in the bathroom (thank God, because I shouldn't have even been toying with the idea of sleeping with him! He was trying hardcore for it. Not happening, no thank you randoms. A girl can fantasize though.) and then on the bus ride home another guy named Michael (weird he looked similar to Michael Cerra heh cute) sat beside me and got my number, we're going for lunch next week! Yay a respectable guy! He seems very nice, like one of those you want to be best friends with.

Yea so anyways, that was my Monday night escapades, very eventful, probably the last night I drink to get drunk for a very long time because I was hung over a bit this morning and I just can't handle it. And it's really not that great. I am officially saying it, I won't be drinking (much) anymore.

I hate measuring myself so I am posting my pic rather than posting measurements. Here it issss... I am a wee little bit bigger in this pic than when I first started NBE, but my ipod with all my original start pics is lost to the world now.... I'll post a front comparison shot when I have a progress pic to compare it to. Feels so taboo finally posting a pic. I see why some choose to blur out their nipples.
Mkay my pics and my program. I wasn't going to post them yet (I changed my mind like 3 times) but it seems fitting to do so with my program.

I'm just going to post what I am taking and not bother with what time, because I don't know what will work best yet.

CURRENT SIZE - Large 32B / Small 32C
STARTING SIZE - Regular 32B
Height - 5'7 1/2
Weight - 117 lbs (?)

* Pueraria Mirifica - 400mg x 2 (800 mg Siam Natural)
* Calcium Supplement Tea - as much as possible throughout the day
* Super Lecithin (the good stuff) - 4-5 capsules a day
* Maca Root - waiting for instructions, gonna load it up though.
* MSM - a significant amount, not sure how much yet
* L-Theanine - A sleep aid but I think it will assist with HgH production.
* Omega 3
* 1 cup of Damiana tea, either before bed or in the AM (with a tbsp of quality raw honey mixed in)

So those are my main supplements. I'll also try to take a good multi vitamin and get back into the habit of taking my diatomaceous earth when I have a routine.

I massage for anywhere between 6-15 minutes per breast once a day. Usually I opt for about 9 minutes. I also bought a PM breast spray that I will be massaging in. Currently I massage with Grape Seed Oil.

I'll be going to the gym regularly, no cardio.

Some other things that I take on the daily not really related to nbe but kind of:
* 1 tbsp of quality raw honey (a different kind than what I mix into my damiana tea)
* 1 tbsp of squeezed organic lemon juice in a full glass of water, 2X a day
* 8 cups of water per day (or so I try)
* Lots of fruits and veggies!!!
* 2 tbsp of hemp oil
* 1 tbsp of coconut oil (sometimes)
* 1 tbsp of olive oil (maybe.. if I decide to get more)
* Coconut water after workouts (sometimes. Or a banana --> potassium)

Umm hmmm and also I will soon be going back to taking a few drips of grapefruit seed extract in a glass of water.

And I bought a Lily of the Desert Aloe detox formula a little while ago that I should probably use soon so it doesn't go bad.... it tastes so gross. I think I will use it during the week of my period, which is the ONLY time I won't be taking PM (no cycling for me!). It contains:
* Aloe polysaccharides
* Burdock Root
* Acacia Gum
* Milk Thistle
* Dandelion Leaf
* Slippery Elm Leaf
* Spearmint Leaf
* Marshmallow Root
* Green Tea Leaf
* Red Clover Leaf
* Blue Cohosh Root

Ya there it is. Maybe I will toss in a cup of spearmint tea too. And I will be replacing my alcoholic drinking habits with a big ol cup of white tea, soooo yummy <3

My birth control is yaz, no longer the mirena IUD

And I am now reading Simple Abundance - A Daybook of Comfort and Joy. I have had it for quite some time and never gotten very far into it but it is a pretty damn good book. I am including it as part of the mental aspect of my program. Still doing my sexy mirror ritual too.
I am back to having a tough time falling asleep, which in turn causes me to sleep in and miss breakfast. Ughhh. I think what it may be is that I need a nighttime snack before even bothering trying to fall asleep? Because I have absolutely no problem napping right after supper. But this sleeping til 1030am is screwing up my day and making me fall behind on some serious reading and gym time.

So I am going to try eating a bagel tonight at around 830pm ish and go to bed at 9pm ish. I really hope it works, I even took my sleeping supplements at a good time last night :/ .

If I can't get a good sleeping pattern down by next Friday then I am going to talk to my doctor, as I will be seeing her then to get the COPPER iud put in (not the stupid mirena, I recommend it to no one). Maybe she`ll prescribe an anti-anxiety med or something. Seeing as I have a history involving that. Maybe it would help me actually BE motivated to go to the gym and do my school work, because I don't want to do anything. I would have been perfectly content staying in bed until 1 pm.

I am going to try to find those alkaline/acidic papers and find out which side my body is moreso on. It should be more alkaline with all the lemon water I have been drinking.
I'm back to not being able to fall asleep at night. Didn't sleep a wink last night. Going off the grid.
I enjoyed reading your lil journal posts. Very uplifting. And your breasts are great already! Can only be up from here!

Ewe, what a jerk. You seem too sweet and thoughtful to be with someone so cold! I'm glad that you put him and his no-good opinions behind you Wink And you know, only the prettiest faces can rock short hair! Hottt and edgy

Honestly, I am in the exact same boat. I lost my appetite a couple years ago and have never really gotten it back. I really have probably one of the world's most pathetic appetites. Everything I eat I am forcing myself, OR if I am lucky, my body clock will go off when it knows it is time to eat (because I have been forcing myself to eat so regularly in the past year) but that "hunger" only lasts for maybe the first and second bite. It is not real hunger. It is just a body clock, if you will. Your diet is 90% of your results. So you won't regret committing to this, as it makes a HUGE difference! And, it only gets gradually easier with time. I promise Smile And you say that before you were worried about snacking on your "off" days would make you fat... you know now that is not true, right? I keep up my diet every single day because my muscles are recovering from my workout and then growing throughout the week until my next workout! You need it all week long to feed your muscles as they grow. But from the sounds of it, it seems that you know that now Wink

Great thing to have a friend! You guys can have fun experimenting with the machines together. It also helps to read the directions on the machines and/or watch others on the machines. Or, write down the names to the machines and google them when you get home and watch a youtube video of how it is done. There are so many ways that you can choose to learn. And yes, take it slow! Especially when you are feeling overwhelmed like you are. You've got the right idea Wink

Oh! And I meant to mention in my last post to you but I wanted to ask you how much protein you take in one sitting? And how often do you take your protein throughout the day? Because that is a huge aspect of the figure builder's diet that is really important....

WOW your upper body reminds me quite a bit of my own! Your breasts are pretty much exactly the same size as mine and a similar shape (although I think your poles are higher while mine are lower). And look at that flat tummy!! You have a very nice, curvy body (at least from what I can see). From the looks of it, your body looks healthy and like you can totally take on weight lifting AND booby growth! You may be an ectomorph (based on your description of yourself), but you still clearly have enough meat to work with! And you have a fantastic diet, btw. I have not heard of L-Theanine as a sleep aid until now. Maybe I should look into that as well (I have VERY irregular sleep patterns...).

Your program looks great and so do you, especially just for starting off! Only fantastic results will come of this Smile
