Three months in. Time to assess, whee!
What worked this past month?: Sleeping more (!), being consistent with old habits
What didn't work?: Taking a lot of supplements, keeping up with eating certain things because I just didn't have the budget to buy food all the time
What do I need to work on?: Making more money so I can do weekly grocery shopping.
Current supplements:
Nature's Truth Hair, Skin, & Nails
Cod liver oil
MSM
Current topicals: Shea butter, cocoa butter, and coconut oil mixture
Current massage:
Morning routine - 10 pumps into each armpit, 25 squeezes of breasts, 10 outward circles, 100 inward circles (deer massage), 25 squeezes, 100 inward circles, repeat 25 squeezes followed by inward circles until 100 squeezes and 300 inward circles have been achieved
Night routine - 300 deer massages (inward circles), pressure point massages just below collarbone and on shoulder area directly on either side of neck, more deer massage on (smaller) right breast, fat brushing from upper back
Bathtime routine (once a week in place of night routine) - Exfoliate breasts, 300 deer massages, use bust roller going upward on upper chest and in middle of breasts 100 times per section
I also do 100 deer massages whenever I wind up topless, like when I'm changing at the gym. There are a few other little OCD things that I do massage-wise, but I don't feel like detailing them right now.
Incorporating this month:
1. Getting even stricter with my diet.
2. As soon as I get my period, I'm going to try out seed cycling. I might not always have the money to pull it off, though.
3. I'm going to start fat brushing again. I got scared of it for a while, but I want to give it another go.
I remember reading EmilyLoretta (a girl who did really, really well with NBE a few years ago) saying that you should give a routine three months to see if it works for you. I was originally going to measure at this point, but I have luteal swelling, and now I think I want to wait a full year before measuring. My breasts seem to be doing okay, so I think I'll keep this routine.

And I am happy about it, especially when I think of how God has blessed my body. It's intact and capable. I have strong legs that have powered me through track and elliptical machine workouts and allow me to move around even with my 4-year-old niece on my back. My arms were strong enough to lift and help my mother when she couldn't completely move herself on her own. Most of all, it's healthy and I can get out of bed in the morning knowing no one has to help me move through my day because my body is fully functional. I've gotten nothing but compliments on my body in real life. I'm the only person who has said anything bad about it (okay, two people have made remarks about how skinny/bony I am, but I suspect one of them was jealous and I know the other was just showing concern).
I like doing NBE because I feel like I can show some TLC and appreciation back to my body. It's a nice way to show my hardworking, healthy, capable body a little love. So yay for my body, and thank you God that this is the one that I got!
I love this! and you are so right-- I always think NBE isn't a form of changing anything because we don't like it, it's just adding and nourishing so we can grow to our fullest potential
Keep this outlook, BB~ it's a very good one <3

Today's intake:
72 ounces of water
Breakfast - Banana, green smoothie, oatmeal with walnut pieces
Snack - Cashews, iced green tea
Dinner - A slice of oven cheese pizza, a chicken and veggie dish, Mint Medley tea
Dessert - Watermelon, a piece of dark chocolate
Snack - A weird sandwich of mayo, avocado, hummus, pastrami, and pepper jack cheese
Supplements - Two hair, skin, & nail supplements, two MSM supplements
I think this is the biggest luteal swelling I've had. It's the most painful as well. My left breast hurt so badly at one point that I almost wondered if I should go to the doctor.
Still no period.

Today's intake:
64 ounces of water
Breakfast - Bagel bites with plain cream cheese
Lunch - A banana, two slices of oven cheese pizza, an avocado protein smoothie
Snack - Pumpkin seeds
Dinner - Tomato paste, a chicken and eggplant dish over brown rice
Dessert - A piece of 72% cacao dark chocolate
Supplements - Two hair, skin, & nails supplements, two MSM capsules
I eat a lot of cheese pizza made in the oven, I'm realizing. It's because my dad gets and makes pizzas in the oven every week, and he always gets me my own cheese pizza because he knows I prefer no toppings. Then I feel bad if I don't eat it, and it's an entire full-sized pizza so there's a lot of it to eat. At least it tastes good.
My thyroid results were fine! Hallelujah, thank you Jesus, and glory to God. I was trying not to fret, but I was definitely fretting a little bit. I'm so relieved. Can't stop being grateful to God. I was praying every day about it, let me tell you. And consuming goitrogens like it was going out of style.
My period arrived today. Day 32. Typical cycle length for me. I've started eating pumpkin seeds and will try to do so every day until I ovulate.
My breasts feel a little itchy inside today.

Sound like you are succeeding with your plan. I expect that you will repeat "
this is the biggest luteal swelling I've had." every month. You mentioned that you would follow missboobshirt's plan about swallowing 2 tablespoons of coconut oil every day. Are you doing that? Please tell us in the next week or two if you think you have retained some of the swelling. Keep up the good work

Thanks, sis. Is it ever. I was able to raise the necessary hormone levels for my thyroid by over an entire point! Hallelujah. I knew including certain foods in my diet could help it, despite my doctor saying there was nothing I could do.

Thanks, James! I totally forgot about the coconut oil, as I decided not to use it on my skin (the main reason I was getting it). The next time I get paid, I'm definitely getting some for ingestion purposes only.
Thanks again.
