I have been on Eve M;s regiment for a week or so now, and I have recently started boiling the herbs in a tea instead of taking them dry because they were irritating my throat.
Is this better? Worse? Does it work faster? Slower? Not at all?

I am new to NBE, but not new to herbs. It's definitely not good to actually boil the herbs. It's best to bring the water to *just* before boiling, then steep the herbs for 10 minutes for tea, or several hours to overnight for an infusion. If you miss that point before boiling and it's actually bubbling, it's OK, but almost-boiling water always brings out the best in herbs.
