I just came back from the lab. Did a hormone test (CBC, TSH, fT4, estradiol and progesterone). Tested for prolactin some weeks ago, so did not repeat that today. Also testosterone was tested many times in the past and I was always in the lower range. Really looking forward to receive the test results. The last time I checked estradiol and progesterone is 10 months ago. Should have the result of todays test on monday.
Morning Peggy.
You know a lot about hormones, how do you get your tests one? Blood or hair? Which is most effective... If it was hair I almost comptemplated sending you some of mine lol! And il pay to get my tests done via you, I'm sure it would be cheaper and a less painful process than over here!

Lovely, are you still going to use the lady's mantle second half of your cycle once you start on the PM?

Cool
Yes im really hoping it will have beneficial effects for raising progesterone. Im pretty sure about now is when I start my luteal phase, I'l refer back to our previous discussions plus I downloaded a period calendar.
I just wondered however if because im taking phytos all through my WHOLE cycle is there any benefit to trying to raise P through the second half

PS I found a nurse over here last night online who charges around $30 for an actual hormone test but its saliva.. then charges $85 to consult with you the results!
I'm waiting for her to email me back and il get it done, ive asked just how long I need to stop herbal supplements prior to the test to get them out of my system. Then il consult with you as to which day is best to take it

This sounds excellent!
Right now I am also taking all herbs the whole cycle (except lady's mantle), but I won't continue as soon as I start with PM.

I will decide that when I see my new lab test result.
I planned to use PM in follicular + PC and LM in luteal. Spearmint the whole cycle.
