NotSoBusty's Routine

#91

So, I think I am experiencing symptoms of estrogen dominance, which means it is a very good thing that I am taking this break.

My symptoms are:
Dry, itchy eyes
Early onset of period
Cloudy/Foggy Thinking
Headaches
Increased Appetite
Weight Gain
Acne
Insulin Resistance (I came to this conclusion, because my appetite has been out the roof, and every time I find myself hungry, I find that I am immediately ravenous and I shake. Along with this, my blood sugar drops and the shaking continues until I get some kind of sugar in my system, which has been an insane amount of Twix bars at the moment.....this is not a good thing.)

A lot of these symptoms can be cross-overs for other hormonal issues, but I think that because I have been taking PM, estrogen dominance is a logical conclusion. I know that elevated levels of estrogen are important for NBE, but I need to learn how to control it at a level where these symptoms don't exist.

So, after doing some more research on cleansing with milk thistle, I decided to take it for the entirety of this cycle in order to be completely clean. I came to this conclusion after reading Isabelle's experience, where she experienced androgen and progesterone dominant symptoms at different times during the month until everything went back to normal. She said she thinks "it takes a month to be completely clean." I definitely trust her input, and I figure it is probably my best option and won't hurt anyway.

Sorry for rambling, again. Any suggestions?

Hi Notsobusty!

I have problems with low blood sugar, and have the exact same symptoms you described of insulin resistance (but have had it since before NBE). I did notice that when taking Goats rue for prolactin, my appetite went way down and I could go many more hours without getting shakes and foggy brained etc. I read somewhere that goats rue increases insulin sensitivity, but I think also FG does too (you might have to search that though, because I'm not positive). Anyways, yeah low blood sugar is no fun Dodgy

Oh and most importantly, congrats on your awesome growth last month!!!! w00t Big Grin

Thank you, gilly!! I am pretty excited about it. I can't stop looking at my boobs and messing with them! I feel very aware of them. I have also been very consistent with NB, so I am thinking that it is adding to it. I can't wait to start my next cycle!! And thank you for the information regarding Goat's Rue. After I read your post, I did a little bit of research, and I think I am going to add it to my next cycle. I think I will take it everyday and see if I notice a difference! Looks promising.

In terms of my suspicion that I am estrogen dominant, I made an appointment with the OBGYN, but I have to wait two weeks for the appointment. So, I am going to continue to cleanse until that time comes. I changed my mind again and I am only going to take Milk Thistle for 2 weeks (where I came up with this number is just random), and then I am going to do a different kind of cleanse that I haven't yet decided upon.

So, I have been doing a lot of research today trying to figure out how I want try to regulate my cycle with PM, given that my hormone tests come back okay.

So, for my first trial run in my tests with PM cycling, I am going to cycle like Mumma Bear did. I was so glad to read through her thread and see that she is cycling just like I was thinking I wanted to. I am sure her program is on this site somewhere, but I just happened to run across it on the NB forum, so here is a link:
http://www.noogleberry.com/forum/index.p...347.0.html

She had incredible results, and her cycling method is exactly what I wanted to do, but just wasn't sure if it would work. No harm in trying!

I am getting so impatient to start again!

For the past week, I have been working on my cleavage area with my NB by holding the domes so they touch in the middle of my chest and pumping. I also use to piston pump method while I do this. It seems to be working already! My breasts are much rounder in the domes, and they fill the domes more sufficiently, if you will. My cleavage is filling out, too! I need to get some 500 mL bottles to make nipple stoppers!!

It seems like NB can "fix" the areas and things about my breasts that I don't like, like my lack of cleavage. I feel like my breasts would look sooo much bigger if I just had some cleavage! Just a little more. Only a little. All my boob mass is on the side, so if I even that out with some cleavage, they would look "swell" (haha...sorry for the pun... Tongue)

NB is simply amazing!

OKAY, so the real purpose of this long-winded post:

I have been reading up on milk thistle, and everywhere I read it say that milk thistle "mimics the effects of estrogen." I understand that it cleanses the liver, but I am a little confused as to why we are using milk thistle to cleanse excess estrogen and other hormones from our bodies when milk thistle is estrogenic? I have a mixed feelings on this. In a way I think it is a good thing, because I don't want my estrogen levels to completely drop, but I want to cleanse my liver in the meantime. On the other hand, I don't want to add MORE estrogen to the already increased estrogen levels in my body. However, I am not a scientist and do not claim to be expert, so these are just my thoughts.

Can anyone explain this to me, perhaps?

Hi NotSoBusty!
Sorry if this is the silliest question ever, but I've been reading about progesterone cream and I understand you have to apply it on your wrists, are you doing that or are you applying it on your breasts and massage with it?
According to Dr Lee's test I may have progesterone deficiency (apart form androgen excess, which I already knew), so I'm thinking about adding PC to my program, and I'm looking into it Tongue

And, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly is "foggy thinking"? I've been reading posts about estrogen dominance symptoms, so I can recognize them if I become estrogen dominant, but that term remains a mistery to me (talk about language barriers lol). As you say you've experienced it, could you explain what you felt when your thoughts were "foggy"? Blush

Btw I wonder the same thing about milk thistle, I bought a bottle of MT for my future break but I'm a bit worried about the estrogenic effect while not taking any other herb at all to counter it, so I'm thinking of taking green tea instead, or combine both and take MT one day, green tea the next day... well, I'll decide when my break time comes. I hope someone answers your question.

Thanks and keep up the good work, you're doing great!!

Hi Alicia! Smile

None of your questions are silly questions! That is the beauty of this board. It is an endless sea of information, but one can get so, and I mean soooooo lost in it. I am happy to answer them for you to the best of my ability!

From what I found somewhere on this board in some thread (I want to say it was Ginie...but I could be wrong), which included links back to the source where she found this information, there are different ways to use PC cream. For progesterone deficiency, you apply it to your wrists and other areas like that (I only remember wrists) according to the package of the product you are using. For breast enhancement, you are supposed to apply it to your breasts and massage it in, so that is what I did. I don't think I had any kind of deficiency, though. So in your case, I think you should apply them for deficiency purposes, and I think it will have a very positive effect on your NBE program.

If you have "foggy thinking," you will definitely know it. I drop everything I pick up, can't focus in my classes, and can't remember, for the life of me, what I am supposed to be doing. My to-do list gets longer everyday, because I feel like my mind is just in this cloudy state, and I can't think thoroughly. I also have problems articulating, sometimes. I make it sound really bad, but I am usually very concise, articulate, and productive, so any drop in productivity seems huge to me. It was just a definite shift in the way my mind was working and thinking.

I, too, am using green tea in my cleanse! I am using it along with the MT, and so far so good. I am going to do some more research in hopes to answer my own question, but hopefully someone has the answer! Wink

Good luck with your program, Alicia!! Happy boobie growing!!

*on a side note: I am thinking about purchasing either the L or the CL domes for NB. I don't quite fill the M's, but I am looking for more width in the domes so that I can work on my cleavage area more efficiently. I will probably combine with M's with this program (like pre-pump or something), because I have read that a lot of people have gotten more outward growth with the M's, but more roundness with the L's and CL's.

*Edit: I will also be lowering my fennel intake during my luteal phase for my next cycle. I have been reading a lot about how too much can halt growth, and the recommended dosage is 400 mg. I only have 575 mg tablets, so I will just take one of those a day instead of 3.

Hello NotSoBusty!!!

I hope your cleanse went well and you are over your symptoms of potential estrogen dominance!!!

I have an idea about your noogling... Since my cup is small but I want to prep pump before my NB gets here so I can get my body used to longer sessions, I only have one cup but I move the pump so that it slighty overlaps the cleavage line (ignoring whatever is hanging out on the other side-it gets pulled in comfortably during suction)... I know pumping at the same time is better for time but it works for me...

I have a question, if you dont mind...
I think I used Latavi (maybe the very last thing I used before I completely discontinued NBE).. While online searching for PM their site popped up! I remember liking the cream they had... I think that may have contributed to my current size.
So now the question:
If I only use a PM cream will I need to cycle it, I was wondering because I figured I wasnt taking it in pill form the cream may have a lower dose that doesnt affect your cycle... Do you know anything about PM cream?

Anyhow keep up the GREAT work... Happy growing pains!!!

Alicia,
You are so welcome! Thank you for your encouragement! Hmmm..."VeryBusty"...Yeah, I like the sound of that!! Hopefully someday soon I can feel confident enough in my gains to change my name to that! I may need an intermediate name, like "ALittleBusty" haha! Tongue

ItMeansPure,
Thank you for your kind words! I have been doing something similar to what you mentioned, but I think I will try your one cup method to maximize results. I like it!!
I have never heard of Latavi, is it a PM cream?
Personally, I have never used PM cream, but I use a spray from Ainterol. I have only used it during the first half of my cycle while I am taking PM pills, but I think there are some others on this board who use PM creams/serums/sprays throughout their cycles, but I can't remember who! However, the PM in the cream WILL absorb into your system, and I don't know the effects it will have on your cycle. I wish I could be of more help!!
