Asymmetry - can it be corrected?
June 10 2008 at 1:06 AM Roseability86 (Login roseability86)

I keep trying to take a starting picture, but everytime I do I feel sick because my boobs are so different. They're a cupsize different and different shapes. I'm taking wonderup and using Bosom Beauty - 2 hours a day on smaller boob since end of April and one hour on larger one (bar two or three days) since end of May. The reason I use it on larger breast is that its changed the shape and position of the smaller one, so I want to do the same with that one.

I was just wondering if anyone has managed to correct assymetrical boobs? If so, how? I know nobody has 100% symmetrical boobs but everyone else's look pretty much the same from the photos. I feel mine could come from two different women.

Hi Roseability,

I think the problem you are describing is a very common one. It certainly is one that drives many women to NBE. Most of us, myself included, are asymmetrical to a degree.

Your description is probably a case that will take time and persistence. I can't remember who, but I believe there is a case of a woman correcting asymmetry. I believe she focused primarily on her smaller breast with massage and I believe some type of external cream. If I can find the account I will point it out to you.

Probably you will do well with the Bosom Beauty since you can focus more attention on your smaller breast. Just keep at it and perhaps check out some external creams for massage of that breast as well.

Best wishes,
waxingmoon

This was a real problem for me before. It might sound like an Old Wives tale, but I've heard that the smaller breast is usually on the side you write with.. I'm right handed and my right breast is smaller. But my hairdresser says the opposite is true for her..

I've always slept on my left side but recently, since the beginning of May when I moved residences and rearranged my bedroom furniture so that I now sleep on my right side (long story, but I like to sleep facing the wall, and my current bed is arranged such that I have to sleep on my right to keep that up).. and it's most likely just a coincidence, BUT my right breast is now a whole lot bigger! Still a little smaller than my left, but comparable in size. Righty fits nicely in my 32B bra now whereas before, it was always a bit loose, no matter what time of the month it was (luteal swelling didn't plump it up like it did the left one).

But asymmetry is a problem most of us have, and we sleep in a huge variety of positions. So again, probably just a coincidence that things worked out in my case! Never hurts to try if you're a side sleeper!

Thanks for your input Waxingmoon, I'll definitely keep up the suctioning. I love the new shape of my left boob. If you could find the program, that would be awesome. I had a quick look through the pictures and there was only a few who had asymmetry as pronounced as I do, none of them managed to correct it. I felt a bit disheartened.

Ah, so the sleep theory holds true for you? I've always been a semi-believer of it actually. I sleep on my right side and its my right boob that's giant compared to the left. Not really evidence in itself but I've noticed the shapes are fitting with the sleep theory. Righty is bigger and the breast sits away from th centre (you can notice when I squeeze them together) and also is a lot rounder underneath the armpit. It does look like gravity has pulled it. The left breast sits so that, when I squeeze them together, its right side in dead in the centre (as far right as my left breast can go I suppose). It does not have any breast tissue under the armpit. I read the sleep theory on here a while back and thought "Yes!!! I sleep on my right side, therefore my right boob is being dragged towards the bed and my armpit, and the left breast is being dragged towards the centre of my chest!!" Right. Migrating to the right side to sleep tonight.

How many months have you been sleeping on the other side to notice a difference?

Sorry, I couldn't remember if you'd already answered the question or not before I posted - turns out you had. So about a month then :-D That's not too long at all. Woo. I'll give it a whirl.

Anyone else have any stories to share? I'm all... well, eyes I suppose.

I've got the same problem, its so annoying, I grew from an A to a C in one boob and a B in the other, the C is so full and the B is noticeably smaller with a different shape. got my growth from wonderup too.
I stopped wonderup because I was getting faster growth in the bigger one. left one is a C right one is a small B I too hate taking pictures, I can't believe the size difference.
I may consider macrolane next year on the smaller one only. wish I could find an answer to this.

Awww Laura, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling like I am. I'm so fed up (and I don't want anything non tissue in me) I was considering having the larger one reduced to the same size as the smaller one. I'm going to try suction and sleeping my left side first though. If there's no change by next May (a year on), I think I'll consider other options. There is hope though, with suction my left breast gets to about the same size as the right one, still different shapes but I'm using suction on the right one as well - just for less time - to try to even the shapes out.

I to have a cup size difference. I am right handed and my right boob is smaller. I sleep on right and left side I guess mainly a left side sleeper. My left is more round and full with side boobage. My right is obviously smaller and no boobage on the side. A b-cup bra is loose on the right and I am very full on the left. I only use topicals right now as it has only been 6 months since stopped nursing and I only massage small breast 2 times a day. I have been doing this a little over 2 months. I used the blossom s soap and it made the left a little more round and full. I think if there is more tissue to work with than things happen at a faster rate.

Hi Roseability,

Its strange when both my boobs were small, there was a slight diference in size but it wasn't so noticeable, and didn't bother me too much now the growth does show the difference in a big way. I think I will go for the breast pump, does it give you fullness on top? I feel my smaller one shows in my clothes, I have been horrified in recent photos as I see this flatter side. If it weren't for my health issues, I would consider an implant on the smaller boob.
Do let me know how you get on with BB and if there's a miricle out there for this, I sure will let you know.lol

I've had the same problem. I am also right-handed and my right boobie is quite smaller than my left. I think there are a few "external methods" to try and balance them out:

1) Massage the smaller breast more often
2) Use more boobie batter on smaller breast
3) PM topicals and soaps (blossom s and PM creams)
4) Suction/pump smaller breast more often

Personally I've been using the first two methods more often and have gotten slight but noticable success and do plan on trying the pumping devices and/or the PM creams to try and even them out.

asymmetry

Hello,
I am recent to the forum, but have had success in making my A cup breasts symmetrical. I was unable to fill a bra with my right breast (I am right handed; figure there is more muscle and less fat there).

I bought an electric breast pump and pump my right breast more than my left; 10 min. for the right to 5-10 min. on the left a few times a week. My husband sucks my nipples other times with good sexual results. I have breastfed 2 children (now 9 and 13) but ended up very small on the right side. I'd be willing to send pics if you are interested. I also drink a lot of water, try to walk 2 mi. about 5 days a week and eat well. Drinking water is key if you pump. Best $45 I ever spent, on an electric pump, but you need privacy.

Wow, so there is hope. Pics would be fab actually, it night give me some hope I can do the same. I think my difference is A cup left and B cup right - VERY noticable. I'd rather the bigger one shrank and I had two A cups than odd boobs.

I filled my email address in on this one, if you wanna email :-)

Thanks for the advice AuNaturel, currently I'm taking three measures to try to grow the smaller one: massaging with suction for 2 hours a day (Bosom Beauty 2012), massaging with cocoa butter, vitamin E, and red clover extract, and starting yday sleeping on my left side instead - gonna take some getting used to.

i tried to take starting pics too and WHY does it show so much more in the pics???? I'm right handed and my right boobie is much smaller. its a very loose 34C, my left boobie is a full 34C now verging on a D I think :S I'm not trying any herbs or stuff as yet (apart from my usual daily 1-2 cups soy milk) cos I wanted to start slowly with massaging my boobies for now especially cos I've seen some difference (particularly in my left boobie). anyways I do it twice/three times daily for about 15 mins and I focus more on my right boobie I'll try to focus more on that. Now I'll try sleeping on my right side too cos I definately always sleep on my left side!! I never thought there might be someth to this side-sleeping thing... i guess it won't hurt to try. thanks for sharing ppl.

Yeah, I forgot to say thank you. I really appreciate you all sharing stories of what, for me anyway, is the biggest insecurity. Maybe one day, when I feel brave enough (probably when there's an improvement), I'll put a pic up of the horrorendous sight of my chest but for now I can't stomach it. I really would like to know why the camera makes it seem so much worse. The mirror is a lot kinda, as is looking down.

Here's to our very own branch of the NBE forum - The Oddballs ;-) and here's to hoping, not that I don't enjoy your company, that we can join the normal folks soon.

Pics are the way to go...for the truth! I knew I looked bad, but when I took starting pics, it was very daunting to say the least. Also, try this: Stand facing your big mirror and take a hand mirror and look into it at your image in the big mirror and it gives you the "real" picture just like in pics. I can look straight on into a mirror and I'll think my smaller one looks like it has about caught the bigger one, but then if I do that with the hand mirror I can see that it hasn't.

sleep theory
June 11 2008, 4:37 PM

Ok let me make sure I understand this as I didn't know about a sleep theory...The side with the smaller breast is the side you sleep on? So if My right is smaller than I sleep on the right side?

Hey Everyone,
Roseability86 - I'm so sorry to hear how upsetting it is for you! Try to stay positive Smile I definitely can relate to how you feel though - it still makes me feel really insecure.

I hope everyone knows that I'm not trying to say that the sleep "theory" is a definite thing. It's just something that I noticed and assumed could very well be the culprit - sleep position. I definitely don't want to hand down claims, when I don't know the science (or any science for that matter!) behind gravity and blood circulation and its effects.

I can say with certainty that I have only been sleeping on the new side for only over a month - it seems a little fast for that kind of result (for them to be nearly even) - maybe it's just a coincidence that that happened - but then again, I haven't made any other changes that I can think of to account for the nice surprise!

If you think about how much time you spend sleeping, it does seem plausible because it is a significant amount of time (at least one third of our lives, for most of us), allowing for gravity to take its toll. I think part of the reason I have bad posture is because of all the hours I spend sleeping curled in ball Tongue

Right now, their fairly even in size, but the smaller one still doesn't protrude out at the side the way the bigger one does (as a lot of you mentioned) - so that, I don't know how to rememdy

But I worry that prolonged sleeping on the new side will inhibit the growth of the previous larger breast. Time will tell I guess Smile

Re: Asymmetry - can it be corrected?

No, well not for me anyways. I sleep on my right side and my right boob is bigger. I assumed it was gravity - its massive and more under my armpit wheras left one sits on my chest - maybe the gravity pulls the breast down and the blood to that breast (my ciculation is poor so blood probably finds it easier to just sit somewhere than pump) so it received more homrmones. And tissue growth mainly takes place when you're asleep.

Great, looks like we have more "oddballs". I'm really glad we aren't alone on this issue. Besides the self esteem regarding our "breast size" looks like we have more problems regarding the "unevenness".

I too have taken starting pics and there's this certain lighting that makes my right boobie look ridiculously smaller (sighs). I promise to post the pics on the 6th month of my NBE program, i'm 2 1/2 months into it already Smile
