How much Papain per day?

Ok, picked up the chewable papaya enzyme from GNC, $3 for 90 tablets, great deal. But I see that per 3 tablets it only gives 6mg of papain and that the label instructs 3 to 9 tablets per day. At 9 tablets per day that's only 18mg of papain, is that enough???

ntasha where did you get this info from, I haven't been able to find somewhere saying how much is needed each day so I'm quite curious

Then for those who are promoting the GNC tablets, they sound worthless with such a low does of papain! :-(

I don't take GNC's mine cost like $8 I got it in the health section of my drug store... Its Swiss Natural's papaya enzyme triple dose... has 90mg of papain in each
