Possible PM Side Effects?

#1

Hello All,
I am considering PM as a breast enhancement supplement and have been reading everything I can find on its effects. I am convinced that it is capable of producing breast growth in most people but cannot find any information on a side effect. The one possible side effect I am most worried about is Deep Vein Thrombosis. Elevated levels of estrogen in the human system are a major cause of this life threatening issue and I don't want to become a statistic. Can anyone enlighten me as to the likelihood of this becoming an issue while using PM? I know HRT patients must be watchful for this and it would seem that users of PM should be as well. Right? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Amy.
Here are some links to look at on DVT.
This one starts off on a related issue then goes into mentioning DVT. Ithas a interesting link at the end on DVT.

I am of course no expert. But I have not heard of a Ggirl getting DVT while on PM. (Anyone knows better please chime in) I have read from one (male) individual that was suffering pains in the leg after starting PM. But they stopped when he upped his water intake. I think (my opinion) that you would have to take a lot of PM to run this risk. Unless you had a pre-existing condition that could cause it. (see second web site link)
While bresque, I believe carla is right about the difference in estrogenic material between plants and Pharmaceutical hormones.

Lastly, I have read of a few things that can help prevent blood clotting. Asprin and Fish oil can help prevent blood clots by causing the blood to thin. Fish oil can cause blood plateletts to be less sticky to one another.
I found that in one of these web sites. Sorry I didn't have time to look up which web site it was.

Thanks to both of you for responding to my question. I read through the links you posted Andy and did find them helpful. I'll continue to keep my eyes open on the web in regards to new information on PM, but for now I think I'll go ahead and start taking it. Thanks again
