Size of breast implants

How do you know what cc implant you need to get the size you want? I went to 2 consultations and got 2 different answers. Very confusing. At the first one I was shown samples and the one I picked was 475cc. The doc looked me over and said it would be fine. He has 20 years experience of ops and seemd quite sure of things, but I always think you shouldn't jump in with the first advice on something like this, so it was in my mind all along to have 2 consultations. At the second one the doc didn't have any samples, but took careful measurements of my breasts and my frame instead, which the first one didn't do, then recommended 325cc. Big difference! He was advertising 5 years experience, but like the first doc seemed to know what he was doing. But this has just left me totally confused, as the outcomes of the 2 consultations are so different.

The second doctor took time to examine and measure you thoroughly before suggesting a size, which says something about being careful, responsible and professional in his judgements.
The first one might still be a hell of a good surgeon though.
Get a third consultation. :-)

I think Fennel Fairy's last comment is a good suggestion. A third consultation might make things clearer for you, especially as the outcomes of the first 2 were so different.

I vote for the first doc. I wouldn't let the fact that he didn't measure you be a negative, as he's probably so experienced that he didn't need to! Most likely he could tell just by looking. Plus it seems to me that the second doc is recommending what he thinks would be right for you, just based on his own opinion, whereas with the first doc he let you make the choice of what you thought would be right for you.
