Hey, I came across a picture of a woman whose breasts look similar to mine.
While I do not want to get implants or anything, I can see myself having a breast lift sometime in the future. I will be turning 40 next year and I know that my bigger breast will start to sag more and more.
I can't quite tell whether the lady in the picture got implants, or not, as she has a scar underneath her formerly bigger breast and I don't know if it possible to lower the breast crease without an implant?

It doesn't look like implants to me. I would say a breast lift and in addition one breast being made smaller.

Thank you so much

I also don't think it looks like she had gotten implants, but the results look amazing (to me).

Yes it's a very good job. Impressive.
But if implants had been used the breasts would surely be bigger than we see in the picture.

You are right, but all throughout my life I have been fed the myth that tuberous breasts could only be "corrected" with implants. Some doctors use fat grafting, but most keep saying how only implants could correct the shape. This patient still has no lower pole fullness, but her breasts still look normal to me, I would be beyond happy if mine looked like that

I think the idea that tuberous breasts can only be fixed with implants is outdated now. Like you said, fat transfer is an option these days and volume can be added that way. A breast lift also addresses the problem but without adding volume, maybe even reducing it.

I wish they would have told me that 20 years ago. I wouldn't even mind my breasts being different sizes if only they were a normal shape. I would have turned to NBE to increase the size of the small one.
I wonder why plastic surgeons always want to sell the idea of implants being the only way to correct the shape. It's not like they aren't making money with a breast lift alone.
Thank you, Rozu
