Hello There, Guest!

puresterol vs normal pueraria?
#1
Hello,
Does anyone know how much stronger is puresterol extract than normal pueraria powder?

I wanted to buy ainterol liquid extract at first but two times it didn't get shipped from different sites and only wasted my time.

Swanson has puresterol extract of PM but it's only 100mg how many mg of PM powder is it equal to in matter of strenght?

Anyone has used it or could say which brand can I buy in Europe? Because ainterol seems to ignore customers they didn't reply on any of emails till i didn't open paypal case even then no reply, no sorry for being late just refund.

Hello

That's a good question!   Puersterol is made by one company Bio Botanica. When you see it in Swanson
Solgar, Natues answer etc all the same thing.  They aimed to make a standardized
pueraria mirifica extract.  There can be no deoxmiroestrol in it because in Thailand before its shipped to them
they soak the pueraria mirifica in solution and ship the liquid to them.  The deoxmirioestrol readily oxidizes.  They
did not claim to to standardize the deoxymiroestrol.

The next big problem is the testing.   There is no way to know how much miroesrol is in there extract... Why, well they run
it on a method called LCMS.   Its a great method but when you create this protocol its needs to be validated with another method
called HPLC.   The problem is only a few people in the world have any actual miroestrol.   No commercial facilities have this.  Without
miroestrol there is no way to test with HPLC.

Botton line what they have is a guess......meaning who knows what they have.
When you say normal Pueraria Mirifica that means different things.  Wild root powder generally has 0 to 5 mg miroestrol with exceptions of  course.
If it is farmed it has much more but not all farmed is the same.  The genetics of the plant is important and the length of the harvest cycle is important.
pueraria mirifica i year old or younger is poor.  Generally the longer the harvest cycle the higher the actives.   Raw Material like Pueraraprem have harvest
cycles that extend to 10 years.........root powder ranges from about 20 to 23 mg/100 gram miroestrol and 5 to 7 deoxmirioestrol.  That is is very strong because the
deoxmiroestrol is 5 to 10 times stronger than miroestrol.

Extracts are a different deal because they can be concentrated.   One company concentrates their extract 100 times because they use crappy wild pueraria mirifca.
There is nothing special about their extract.   Another company makes pueraraprem a low ratio extract.........the miroestrol is 30mg/100 grams and the deoxmiroestrol
is 20 mg/100 grams because the pueraria mirifica is premium.   That is a total of 50mg/100  chromemes.  The reason for the high level of deoxymiroestrol is the way its processed.

does that help

What company or seller do you recommend, if any? I'm considering trying nbe one more time. I've had many failed previous attempts. One of the biggest problems is finding reliable sources of certain products, especially PM. Years ago I looked through a TON of personal logs from people who claimed to have achieved 2 cups or more of breast growth. I created a list and then tried to eliminate any logs from women who were too young, or who experienced  too much weight gain (or didn't track their weight at all), used improper measuring, or failed to take enough photos. There were VERY few successful logs left after I eliminated the "bad" ones. "Bad" may be too strong of a word, but they were not very useful as references. If I remember correctly, literally all of the remining succesfull logs were made by women who used progestin based or combination birth control and PM. The majority also used USP progesterone cream and some type of androgen blocker. Most of them took progesterone and PM in a cyclical manner. A reliable source of all these products could be massively helpful for people on this forum. At the time, my PM program didn't work for me, but I wasn't on birth control because my faith-based insurance alternative refused to cover it, and I could not find a reliable source of PM. USP progesterone and Birth control is not too hard to come by for most people, but it's a giant pain in the ass to find reliable PM in the US. Some people have had success with some cheap and commonly available brands of PM, but I just don't trust these brands to consistently produce a potent product.

Nevermind. I just saw that Roberta recommended Siriporn in another thread. I hope she's right.... Looked itup and realized that Siriporn is that brand with the horrible looking website that used to always advertise around here. Or at least it appeared that that's what they were doing. That doesn't necessarily mean that their product is bad, but it raises some red flags. I wonder if anyone else can verify the claim that American brands can't standardize for miroestrol. I don't see why that would be the case, but I have literally know idea how herbs are standardized.

Stephie you did not read what I wrote....the most important thing to measure the actives is to have the marker compounds like miroestrol.
There are only a few people in the whole world that have it.   They do research at several Universities.   The only people that I'm
aware of that where able to synthesize it is E.J. COREY a nobel prize winner in chemistry at Harvard and his graduate student Larry WU
in about 1990. They did iy in 18 steps. A pharmaceutical cmpany will not make a drug typically if it goes beyond 5 steps.
Its not easy to isolate from the plant.   Its not the kind of thing a supplement company is not set up to do.  Its as simple as
that.  They can measure it now in Japan and several of the universities in Thailand because several professors were able to isolate it from the plant.
There is no magic its not easy work.  You can look for Dr. Corey's paper online if he is living he is probably in his 90's.
