I was wondering what I could do about that as I don't want it to get worse and cause me to wind up on meds for the rest of my life, so I did some research. It turns out certain foods can stress your thyroid, including a lot of healthy stuff. One of those things is raw leafy vegetables. I have a green smoothie almost every single morning. Yikes!
I looked into a few other things as well, such as adrenal fatigue and high testosterone and estrogen. I want to give honor to missboobshirt concerning the whole high estrogen revelation, because her thread is what led me to realizing that that might be the case with me. I always knew my "male" hormones were too high, but recognizing that my estrogen might be high, too, could prove to be a game-changer for me.
In light of these things, I'm tweaking my plan a little bit. I need to do a bit more research and mull over a few things and see what's available to me first, but some of my future plans have changed.
If anyone has any helpful info, that would be great. Or any breakfast ideas that incorporate vegetables, since I love getting veggies in with my first meal of the day. I wish my green smoothie weren't dangerous for me.
Vegetable omelettes are good for getting veggies in. You can basically add in anything you like to it
