Does Maca cause acné????

I had my face free of zits for 5 years ... Till I tried maca, now I have a terrible breakout. Iam 25 so is not a teen problem. Is it because I been taking too much? ( 1 tps everyday for 2 months)
PS: my butt looks bigger so I want to continue with maca root.
