Cumin seems scary to me. It contains thymoquinone, which causes both cancerous and healthy cells to die through apoptosis. It kills a higher fraction of the cancer cells, so it could be considered a kind of chemotherapy. The common polyphenol supplements that kill cancer cells don't hurt regular cells, so cumin is different.
