Hey hun, I'm okay, thanks so much for asking. *hugs* The day didn't start out great, but I'm feeling better. I think I'm in the "happy" part of my cycle, so it's blocking out how I've been feeling. I feel kind of unfocused and "lol I don't care" today in general, so I'm assuming that's helping!

So I measured my bra size according to the instructions and link in the thread that lovedebbii was so very kind enough to share, and it says I'm a 30D/30DD.
I'm starting to think I must be a small D cup, because I consistently get that when I measure/get measured. It's such a weird thought.
And according to that link and calculator, my goal size would put me at a 30E/F. I've always kind of wanted to be an E cup because of reading this when I was younger:

But I think once I get there, I'll want to be even bigger.

I've done so much research on bra fitting that now when I think of an E cup it don't even thing enormous. I see people with big boobs who were like 32DD or E and I'm just like yep you're wearing the wrong size lol.
I do love the feel of a correctly fitting bra because its just so comfortable and makes your boobs look so good.

I think it really depends on which calculator / measuring method you are using.
BB, I believe we have the same measurements (even though my breasts look much smaller than yours). But when I type my measurements in a german bra calculator it tells me that I am an 75A cup = 12cm difference between bust and underbust (tight). 75A equals to 34A. As per lovedebbii's link I am a 30DD or 32D cup (with 4.7'' difference) which is a joke because 34A and 30DD is not the same. The sister size of 34A would be 30C and not 30DD!

Bra measurements are only a starting point.
The sister size of a 34A is not a 30DD but try tightening your band as tight as comfortable and scoop your breast into the bra. If you're quadboobing out of the bra then that means a 30C would be too small for you seeing as they have the same wire length.
You can't really know if it's absurd unless you actually try on the size. Some references:

Thanks. As per the pictures I would fit into a 30D bra (from UK or USA) but I think it is still ridiculous to say that an one inch difference between bust and underbust makes you an A cup like stated on this site:
http://www.brasizecalculator.tk/. In Germany you need a difference of 12-13 cm (= 5 inches) to be an A cup.
My point was that for example a british or american 32D bra is no way the same size like a german 32D bra which is considered quite big there.
Sorry for hijacking, BB.

Hijack away! I love seeing discussions like this, and it helps more people than we realize.
I agree, lovedebbii. We're so conditioned to think of D cups as the epitome of big boobs. I no longer think that way.

Maybe bra sizes are different in germany. In the US with the standard add 4inches way of measuring I'd be a 28DD
24inch underbust +4=28
33 inch bust
33-4=5inch difference
I've got bras in 28E that I burst of off and I get quadboob in 32Ds but not so much seeing as they are made for someone with 36in bust measurement and I'm on 33 inches.
