Hi everyone!

I've recently started back up with NBE after a looong down period; since then, I've started taking adderall and adderall XR to treat my ADD. My NBE program right now includes noogling daily and taking herbs (fenugreek, saw palmetto, and red clover), with GABA and evening primrose oil to give it an extra kick. My question isn't about whether the supplements will interfere with the adderall--because I know that that's something to speak to my doctor about. My question is, does anyone know if adderall messes with the efficacy of the herbs? I know that caffeine can cause the herbs not to work properly, and I've been steering clear of it. I know that caffeine is a completely different type of stimulant than adderall, which is amphetamine salts, so they can't really be compared with one another beside the fact that they are both stimulants...but I thought I'd ask on here to see if anybody knew anything. I've searched around, and haven't found anything that says it would interfere, but better to be safe than sorry!

Stimulants increase dopamine in the brain which is a prolactin antagonist, so it might decrease your prolactin levels. It also could prevent growth by making you lose weight, which was an issue for me when I was on ritalin. If you want to, you could try breast massages and nipple stimulation to compensate for decreased prolactin.
