The Infamous Beth

#1

I was looking over the old site and I came across the infamous Beth's program. She had some great results! Unfortunately, I couldn't find the pictures that shows the results, even though they were talked about. Does anyone know where these pictures are?

This is a link to Beth's old page. She talks about what she takes. I think what really sets her apart is the 90g of protein she had EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Hi Bela,

Thank you..that is about how much I take..good idea to buy protein shake..I have whey protein shakes.. I dont remember where you wrote about high levels of somatostatin and effecting HGH that was interesting and I was reading about it..which lead me to thinking I may need something for HGH I am 48..can you let me know what symptoms/signs that one may need to raise it..it was hard for me to figure out if I need it..I also read that anyone taking L-Arginine should take breaks from it cause too much can stop HGH...I take barley grass which is suppose to help HGH, and not sure if I want to go back to taking L-Arginine..

Oh I wrote that on idreamofD's picture page Smile

I remember reading that if you're under 35 you should take L-Arginine, and over 35 you should take GABA, on her picture page as well.

I read that L-Arginine pretty much stops working at a certain age. Probably because there's too much somatostatin for it to do anything of consequence, that's why GABA might be more effective. But it's worth reading about. I'll look up some of the links where I read this stuff and post it.

Here is one: http://www.futurescience.com/hgh.html
The Life Extension Manual is a very interesting read, especially for bio-nerds like myself Tongue

I'm not sure what some signs of low HGH would be, but I guess slow recovery time could be one. General wear and tear of the body.

"HGH is responsible for growth during childhood -- and for the repair and regeneration of human tissue throughout our lives. By the time we reach the age of 30, our HGH levels are only about 20 percent of their peak levels during childhood, and after the age of 30, they continue to decline at about 12 to 15 percent per decade, and often much more. By the time most of us are 30 years old, our bodies no longer produce enough HGH to repair all of the damage that is occurring in our bodies. As our HGH levels continue to decline, the damage that we call aging continues to accelerate."

You should DEFINITELY take breaks from L-Arginine. 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, just to maintain your body's ability to make it on its own. Same thing probably goes for GABA, but it would take more research to know.

GABA and HGH:

Combination Amino Acids and HGH:

It's a good idea to read all the different options on this one. L-Arginine and GABA aren't the only two that release HGH Big Grin
Some, like L-Ornithine, are even more effective. I personally won't be taking any of the more effective ones until I'm much older, but I'm still a youngin lol.

It's best to start slow on whichever HGH releaser you choose. Once you start seeing some changes, than you know its working Smile

There's no doubt in my mind that HGH is good for both older women and older men. It really helps to extend life and fight the effects of aging.

Perhaps if higher doses of L-Arginine are not effective for you to be able to produce HGH, than combining amino-acids would be more effective, as well as much safer to do.

haha I'm posting so much. I just want you to have all the information available!

Here are some symptoms of low HGH in adults

Symptoms of GH deficiency in adults include the following:
Low energy
Decreased strength and exercise tolerance
Decreased muscle mass
Weight gain, especially around the waist (HGH is linked with the thyroid)
Feelings of anxiety, depression, or sadness causing a change in social behavior
Thin and dry skin (wrinkles)

Here's the site I got it from. Very good article:
http://www.emedicinehealth.com/growth_ho...htm#Growth Hormone Deficiency Overview

Remember that HGH releasers are better to take than HGH products because they stimulate your body's natural HGH. It's also A LOT cheaper to do.

And don't forget HGH helps with cellular growth in the boobies too! Big Grin
