What the heck is bovine ovary?

If you don't mind me asking, what the heck is bovine ovary? The only times I've ever heard of the word bovine it was referring to a product made from a cow. So I'm thinking am I wrong or is this really the ovary of a cow?

that is what it is... the name doesn't leave much to guesswork! dried bovine ovary is just what you think it is.
there is some research online about it, but not all that much has been done... some of us seem to be experimenters, though the numbers are growing a little bit lately, it seems...

Yes the cow ovaries are frozen in their raw state and then dried in order to make tablets out of them.
