Aw, yea...it took a while for me to find something that I could put in my hair to do a natural style without it being too oily. How long have you been wearing a natural style? I've been going on 3 months. It helped that my mom has had a natural style for more than a couple years now and knows what products work...The products I'm using are good, but I know I wouldn't be able to afford them if my mom or aunt stopped buying them for me...I had no idea how much they were; some are $35-45 a bottle!
I've ever had a weave before, except for when I had braid when I was 8 lol! My mom was thinking of getting one just to protect the hair...I'd feel a little nervous bc my hair is already really long and I love playing with it throughout the day, I think the tracks (?) would freak me out XD I might ruin it lol! I would like to henna dye my hair though, that's supposed to be really good for the hair, just as long as you deep condition after washing out the henna
Already on the second day? That's unheard of O.o. Usually the first day, hardly anything happens and it's not until the after about a weeks worth of classes that you start getting work to do
. Oh! Speaking of first days, I met with my mentor and went through most of the procedures for my lab! I'll be doing DNA extractions for a while. We only made it to a stopping point so we'll finish tomorrow, but it was a long day today...I was there for about 3.5 hours and standing the whole time, my feet were sore for about 2-3 hours after that! It's seems like each extraction will take a while to do, but it's exciting to actually be doing something. That, and my mentors really sweet and funny
