NBE and Pregnancy

#1

Good day ladies...I need your thoughts on this

I understand one shoud not take the nbe herbs during pregnancy...does that also mean that one cannot get pregnant while she's on nbe?

I have done research and the following herbs that I take were categorized as;

Chaste Berry (Vitex agnus-castus) = Emmenagogue
Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) = emmenagogue, abortifacient
Red clover (Trifolium pretense) = Abortifacient, emmenagogue

Emmenagogue doesn't necessarily affect the baby during the first few days of pregnancy but Abortifacient does and can lead to miscarriage...

Does this mean that nbers are less likely to get pregnant? (while on nbe)

Thanks for your time , hope someone can shed some light

My boyfriends mom is an herb woman and teaches classes on these subjects. I know there are a lot of herbs that can induce menstruation (causing miscarriages). But I definitely wouldn't use herbs as a solo form of birth control, even if some lower the chance of pregnancy. Too risky! But maybe as a secondary birth control to help reduce chances even more.
