Hi!
Protein powder is mentioned on this site because along with Bountiful Breast, it is recommended that you take Protein Powder in the morning and at night. If you research a bit more into Protein Powders, you'll find that it is needed for your body to have the right amount of building blocks to start growing breasts.

I know about the protein powder, but would a vegetable protein work for people with lactose issues? If anyone could let us know about that because I am lactose intolerant as well.

Just eat a high protein diet - steak for breakfast dinner and tea!

If you are lactose intolerant you could try soy protein isolate or rice protein isolate. Or maybe even egg alabium(forget exact name, basically egg white protein powder)

Cheap cheap, don't go to vitamin stores they are often double the price or even triple.
Chicken breast/eggwhites/low fat tuna/turkey breast also very good sources with alot of good protein.
But you can't get it in pill form, unless you want to take 40 pills each time.
Alternatively you could get something with all the amino acids you need. Like

It is not exactly what you want as it has some energy stuff too.

I remember reading somewhere that you should avoid soy if you are taking BO. Is this true? Also, can anyone provide any links or names of some generic BO besides Swanson?

If you can't get protein powder, something I use is actually canned tuna fish. It has about 20-25 grams of protein per can, so if you can eat some with a meal or between meals it really helps get your protein up!
