Oh Susan,
The first link you posted says no bananas and absolutely no caffeine. But I don't think you'll have to go that far. Your symptoms are just signs of low cortisol. What worked for me starts in this post:

Two days off hops helped. That would be PM in your program. Adding FG made it better too, and adding maca stopped it.
If you have a rash, use it: if you increase cortisol, the rash will heal. You have enough cortisol when the rash is just under control.

Yes, maca increases DHEA, and DHEA helps adrenal fatigue.
If the rash is totally gone now, you are right: cortisol must be too high now. How fast did it happen?

OK..you asked the right question at the right time..I found a really good link you should read the whole thing when you have time or skim it..he explains how starting herbs are just like meds ..start slow and your body will go through changes..so I am thinking it is only 13 days taking maca..my body is still adjusting..plus I probably upped it too fast..ghee I am good for that
so I put my body in a overload..my rash started improving on the regimen..PM was helping but when adding maca my skin is even better..yes still getting some chin break outs and hairs (but not do worried about that I think my body is still adjusting) ...as for break outs body could be detoxing still which from what this link says your body detoxes when making changes..
