Noogleberry Users, be aware of Permanent Indentations!!!

(29-03-2010, 01:09)accidental_ booby Wrote:  Here is a suggestion.
You may some subcutaneous fat on your chest and that is what has become indented--you have pushed it aside and now your skin is very likely thinner there and over your muscles making it into a depression where you ave pushed the fat away..
You can try massage just the areas of indentation for a while , maybe with avocado oil as it seems to be absorbed in to skin well and it contains quite a bit of fat.
You also very likely over- pumped (see the patent information I posted in another thread about how much pressure you should use) and for too long a period. After all, when you are pregnant, it takes 9 months for the skin on your abdomen to stretch to accomdate your infant, so why rush your boobs.
The other possibility would be to just put the suction hose on the skin over the indentations and gently increase vacuum for just 10 or so seconds and go all around the circle or just where the indentations are. It may help suck the fat back under the skin. In any case, you should probably lay of the NB for a while and stick with massage.

An an aside, your can get a great suction pump at HarborTools.com (mityvac MV8000 automotive test and bleed kit)with a vacuum guage for 30$. I have just made a knock off of NB and it works very nicely--for about 35$.--and I can see how much suction I'm using.
good luck

Accidental Booby - is this what you are using?

and how much pressure do you use? are you using noogleberry domes?

i read your post about the pressure needed and was wondering if you go up to a certain level and stay there or do you gradually raise it each time you pump?

this is all very interesting...

I know Lucy sells a pressure gauge that goes on the noogleberry pump, but I never thought I needed it as I have no issues pumping, no bruising, no red dots, etc. I don't overpump, I'm patient Wink

That's not the one. try this
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/di...mber=39522
but I suspect any of these types of vacuum pumps work. (When I got the pump it was on sale for 30$--now it is back to 39$. I use about 3 inches of vacuum, that's enough to make it a bit sore, and since I'm starting out, I do it several times a day for about 5 minutes each time. I also use weather stipping on the edge of the dome to keep away from INDENTS. A circle of any soft rubbery material would work as well and use aquarium silicone to cement them together. Since I was starting out fresh, the whole business costs around 37$ but you have alsready invested in the NB pump so this may not be a needed purchase but maybe something to consider when it is time to replace the pump. I'm not using NB domes.

I'm of the opinion that , like exercise, short spurts will be better than just trying to lift a hundred pounds right off the bat. The skin is a very delicate organ and we don't want to damage the small blood vessels that keep that skin nourished, or cut off circulation. I'll increase the time as my skin stretches more
Sorry I wasn't more specific the first time.

@Accidental:

You mention the Harbor Freight vacuum pump in making your NB knock off. What else did you use? For the domes? Did you add an airlock, or release valve to allow removing the pump while maintaining the vacuum seal? If so, what did you use? Details details! Smile

I just wanted to post my experience with indentions.I Got the brownish circles on my chest when i used to pump 3 months ago and i couldn't wear clothes that revealed that area. But 1 month of not pumping it all faded and is as normal. So with time indentions go away. How long it takes depends on how bad they are to start with.I didn't even put any lotion or pay any special attention to them. They just disappeared with time...

As someone that had the indentation problem also, I wanted to update and say that after adding my new padding solution, the indentations faded within a week or so. I never had then with the Large cups, only when I moved the XL ones. I think it has to do with a couple of things. First they are much heavier than the L cups and second a bit more pressure is requiredwhen using them so they tend to be pressed down harder on the chest. That much pressure on such a thin rim is hard on the tissue. The padding I made spread out the pressure and padded the area.

I know that some people can use them and never get a mark, but for those of us that aren't that lucky, there is a solution that works so that we can still pump also.

Best of all since I can really pump seriously now instead of watching how much pressure and how often, I'm beginning to see real results with it.

For anyone having indentation problems you can find out more details on the padding to solve this problem under the thread titled, "new padding solution... YES!!!" which is on the pumps forum here.

Also if you adjust your position each time you will not be constantly putting pressure on the same spots. Also I only put the blue tac on the top part of cups.

If you don't want to risk it, use the rings, then you will not have any UGLY indents any more.

hi!
will those rings really leave no mark on the breasts?
because i doont wana freak out my boyfriend with the indents lol

i am sort of keeping it a secret from him

thanks

The padding does work to prevent indents, but you will still have some pink areas right after pumping. I can usually put on a low cut top about 15 minutes after I take the cups off and all the pink has faded.

As for hiding it from your boyfriend. If you live together, at some point he may wonder what is going on. If yu guys don't live together, then it probably won't be a problem keeping it quiet.

You might be surprised by your boyfriend to find it might not be as weird to him as you may think. Keeping it secret has been discussed on this forum a lot over time. My husband doesn't mind noogleberry at all, in fact, he really likes it and we debate all the time on which has done more for me, BB or noogleberry. I say the BB because it gave me size right off the bat. He says noogleberry because he likes the shape and swelling i get from it now.

we dont live together. well do you think it can work out for me when i just pump at night so i can have the whole night to recover the marks. lol. i am thinking i just need to be careful of how much pressure and how often. i was out today and saw women with big boobs.and they are skinny.made me think if they were real or NBE. lol

oh really i really am so new to this forum. im gonna keep reading for like a month. lol UB+ NB quest is coming soon for me.

Big Grin exciting and nerve wrecking as well haha.

if my boyfriend gets fishy il tell him. ive only told him about oil massage and he thinks its cool because it appears that it is helping. but in fact i really just stopped from herbs and its only been a week since i stopped so it might be the herbs that worked for me. not just the massage.

your husband is cool. cooperative! i do think the BO is a big contributory factor as well. :/

by the way i plan on taping my nipples if i start pumping as i have read in some threads at NB site that some have grown. lol

thanks for the reply!

and this thread was actually entertaining to read. not because of the fighting going on but of the enlightenment of an issue.
