At least that's the impression I got (in fact, there was a whole thread about it, if I'm not mistaken, on the predecessor to this forum).
I started taking it last week, so I'm not sure about it yet. I think it might be inducing my period to start earlier, because I think I have luteal swelling and tender breasts right now. I usually don't go into luteal so soon in my cycle. It's an improvement, as my cycles are sometimes unhealthily long!
I could be wrong but i think not, if it were enough to affect the endocrine system then you'd be born a boy, i think. i left my spearmint at uni and i'm so sad! i think i need to have my 4-monthly break from the pill and without it i'm gonna be a hormonal wreck haha
It certainly feels like I was born a boy some days! My only saving graces are I'm small and my face is girly.
So you never got a chance to start the spearmint?
No I've been taking it since November I think? I've just decided I'm only going to take it in my breaks off the pill, though, to combat the androgen symptoms i get then.
I'm pretty girly too, but I'm defo a left-brainer :L there was this 'bbc sex id' online test thing we did for psychology in A-Level and me and my housemates did it...I got 'average male' as did all the girls, and the boys were all women except the one camp one who got 'androgynous' haha
Okay, I see. That's clever.
LOL sounds like that test was a little backwards!
Sorry for taking over your thread, AA.
Well, I think it works. We're all cold, rational girls and the boys are defo more emotionally orientated :L
Yes, sorry AA! that's all I promise

Haha go ahead guys I'm loving this discussion. I was also a tomboy growing up but now I'm a full on girlie girl but with a boyish edge. Still jump off water-bridges and always get competitive with the boys but that goes with my competitive nature.
I got my Ts tested and mine were in the high average range and the Maca I took made them a bit too high.

You're all bonkers, you all have the least manly-looking figures ever xD the vein thing though tends to be because of low body fat % ! So maybe you're the lucky people who can just gain some fat and BOOM..BOOBS?

LOL thanks isobasic!
You know what, I've pondered that. I've thought on how I've always been slim, and I wondered where my weight would deposit itself if I were to gain several pounds. But I'm too afraid of getting chubby to find out!
