What is the best gel/cream/oil for breast pump? I will be getting both a pump and an electric massager soon and so I want to know what is the best to pair with it?

I would recommend you flaxseed oil.
If there is too much smell, you can mix different oils underneath.
Geranium oil, ylang ylang, lavender oil.
All oils and fragrances to support NBE.

Personally I use what ever is at hand..... and cheap.... mainly hand lotion... I figure I'm getting all of my growth from the suction and oil or lotions don't add very much.... at least for me....

I use flaxseed with a drop of fennel to cover the smell...seems to do the trick but it stains things orange so I'd only use it before a shower! Otherwise I guess sweet almond oil is cheap and a similar consistency (not quite as thick) with no scent.
