I think you are right -- there probably isn't such a thing as "permanent growth", regardless of whether or not you are using an enhancement device. It makes sense - so many things can have an impact on breast size, such as weight, age, lifestyle, etc.
All I know is this: I have been a 32A my entire life, even though I was about 15 pounds heavier at the beginning of high school. I will be 26 at the end of this month. If I knew gaining weight would help me gain boobs, I might consider trying to put on a few pounds (I am 5'3 and 115 pounds, so on the thinner side). However, when considering my earlier, slightly heavier years, I can't be sure that this would make my boobs grow.
My mom was a 34C when she was my age; unfortunately something went terribly wrong and I did not inherit those genes.
After having three kids, she shrunk down to a 34A. If she shrunk...I am kinda scared to think what will happen to me after having kids!!! YIKES.
