there is more than just one type of estrogen (3 I believe), I never knew this until I got a book out on hormones. if you are high in the bad type of estrogen (estradiol) as lora said you need to level it out or you could be playing with breast cancer. I myself am a tool and haven't had my hormones checked but I plan to do so very soon before I spend too long on my herbal programme.

in my country the doctors may do it for you (hormone testing), just tell them you suspect your hormones are out because you have horrific period problems etc etc (they cant say no to you if you say that)
or see if you can order one online - very expensive at least in my country but worth it.
that said I think you're not doing a herbal programme are you, so EPO might be ok (ask a health shop) or do what im doing, im incorporating a lot of veggies in my diet, the type that help with bad estrgens like broccilli, cabbage kale etc etc OR as lora says take DIM supplement which is the ingrediants that you would get in leafy greens like the above but just in pill form.
