So I will take my temp during both my Luteal and follicular phase to see where my temp is at right now and then go from there I Guess. Would you suggest just simply not taking l tyrosine pills at all because they really won't do that much?
Yes, I wouldn't. Unless you think you have a deficiency in that amino acid. That L-Tyrosine is an amino acid that stimulates the thyroid hormones. Iodine is something that is usually deficient when someone has hypothyroidism. So I wouldn't take either of these unless you suspected that you were deficient in either, because you could just be wasting your money OR (in the case of iodine), you could possibly overdose in iodine and give yourself an actual thyroid problem...
Take your BBT every morning at the same time and chart it for at least a month, maybe two for more certainty. Then compare it to the charts on this page to self-assess your possibility for either a problem with your thyroid or your adrenals: http://www.drrind.com/therapies/metabolic-temperature-graph . That could be a way to start your self-assessment.
I wouldn't want you to dismiss the low temps if they are, in fact, indicative of something. For me, I do not have most of the symptoms and I am not deficient in iodine or other things that are needed for a good-functioning thyroid or liver, so I am dismissing it for now unless I come across something else in my research that might prove reason for me to be concerned. But, not only did Tibetan grow with low temps, but so did ItsJust4Fun and a few others (as I quote her, of course): http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=6645&highlight=%22mad+cow+disease%22 There, you see she says it is very rare for the case of herself and a few others to NOT have a thyroid problem causing their low temps (notice how she insinuates that it needs to be caused by a thyroid problem to affect breast growth). So, I wouldn't think that high temps are necessary. Probably more like overrated, in my opinion. But the fact is that for many or most, low temps are indicative of a problem. So, my first step if I were you would be to do my research and follow up on all the possibilities associated to low temps and see if any of them match your symptoms on the whole or your diet. And I don't mean just one or two or even three symptoms... I mean to have MOST of the symptoms. Especially the most common symptoms, such as weight gain. And to be even more sure, see your doctor and get tested for it. They should respect your concern.
But otherwise, as far as raising your temps go, I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you. You can see what Tibetan had to say about that on my thread... she thinks it is a cop-out for the BO companies to use if you DON'T gain from their product, so they cannot look at fault. I mean, it is actually unhealthy for a woman to have temps around 98.2 in their follicular phase, in my understanding! Based on all the "normal BBT chart" examples I have seen online. But the one bit of truth behind it, I will say again, is IF it is an indication of some underlying problem that a person has. Then, yes, breast growth will be very difficult without fixing the underlying problem.
Good luck! Keep us posted! And you can check up on my bust thread for any more posts on the topic, as I may find out more later, who knows....
