Have you ever been checked for thyroid or pituitary problems?

I was looking into glandulars, I just wanted to get my levels checked before I started anything new to really understand what is going on. Would the glandulars help bring up all of the levels or do you think I should try to balance out the hormones first? I'm having trouble sorting through all of the information! I spend hours on this site and searching others each day, it's seriously become an obsession.

I have had my thyroid checked (several times), although I had ALL of the symptoms of low thyroid my numbers were in check. I know the range is huge, but the specialist I was seeing didn't want to put me on medication to find the right level for me. I started seeing a chiro who found some blockages which helped with the excessive coldness and some of the other issues, but not everything. I feel like I've been fighting the medical system most of my adult life and each test only reveals more questions rather than any answers.

The doctor I am seeing next month is a 2 hour drive away but is an MD and holistic practitioner so my fingers are crossed maybe she can help figure out some sort of alternative therapy (or better yet what is causing all of this - her site says she doesn't like to just treat the symptoms, she likes to figure out the cause which is why I'm driving 2 hours to see her!).

I haven't looked into pituitary, I'll go research that a bit right now. Thank you for all of your help, you are such an amazing wealth of information on this site
