Wow I don't know why but I have not received any emails notifying me of these posts after the last time I was on here. Guess I forgot to subscribe...
Anyway, to respond to some people:
I have not taken any photos but will do that soon! This week if I remember. I'm sorry for my delayed response!
I don't know if you realized, but that hole is too small for any adult sized mouth, so saying it is too small for YOU is not the point. Why would they make it that small if it is too small for anyone, is more the question. After having used both the shot glass method, which completely envelopes my whole mouth, and the Jolie Lip Pump, I have come to understand why. Anything that covers your whole mouth WILL also pull at the skin around the mouth. Now, maybe you do not care about that aspect of the device, but I certainly do. What are plump lips worth if I have an accelerated wrinkles around my lips from excessive pulling on the skin from pumping? I'm sure you get my point.
Also, as I have told you before in a previous post on the other thread, you do not need to have the entire surface of both lips to be covered to bring more blood flow to the area. Simply being next to the area that is pumped, it will have access to increased blood flow (I will demonstrate this in my photos to come soon). After a few months of patiently playing with the device (once every few days), I was able to get it to work perfectly for me. And no, I will say again, my mouth does not fit entirely in the hole so anyone should be able to play with it and get it right just as I did. I find it comparable to the NB in this way, that it takes patience and playing with it to find what works for you. As I have said to you before, it is not a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am contraption, but more of something you need to play with like the NB to get it to work for you.
Thanks for the link on the Candy Lipz! I haven't come across that one yet. It looks interesting but the hole appears to be big enough to pull in the skin around the mouth. It would be interesting if someone tried it and gave a report.
That's good to know that it can be glued after it breaks. I'd personally prefer to deal with an item that is not always breaking though but is more difficult to clean. And it really is not that difficult to clean the Jolie Lip Pump. I rinse it with hot water every so often and that is good enough. But if you insist on cleaning it thoroughly, you can throw it into the dishwasher. Yes, you can. lol. I have not needed to do that though as of yet.
I don't know what size purse you use, but it certainly fits in my purse (I carry it in my purse all the time), as I mentioned above so I do not know why you would make a statement to make me appear as though I do not know what I am talking about (??). Of course there will be purses that are too small to hold either the LL or the JL, and purses that could probably hold both at the same time. My point is that the one is significantly smaller than the other. I made this point because CosmeSearch does not provide any good photos or videos of the product with a real live person (I just don't get that, but anyway...) and LL does, so everyone can see how large the LL is but no one has any idea of the actual size of the JL. So my point remains that the Jolie Lip Pump has a much greater chance of fitting in someone's purse than the Luscious Lip Pump. That's all. But you just gave me an idea. I will post a photo of the JL in my hand when I post my "before" and "after" pics sometime next week. This way people can get an idea of the size of the JL.
If you read up on the product on the NB forum, it is actually not recommended even by NB fans. The lip pump by NB is just a device that breaks for everyone, from what I have read.
A couple things in response to this! I have played with my JL long enough that I actually have been able to sleep with it on for a few hours at a time
(but it is important for me to note here that I have learned how to place it on a suction that is low enough to not hurt my lips, yet strong enough to make a difference over such a long time of wear). The obvious results lasted for the first 5-6 hours of the day! Of course (well I am assuming of course but of course there are some silly people on this forum who would think otherwise) you can not get permanent results from any of these devices in just one shot. I thought that was common logic, but hey. What I DO notice is a guarantee (which is actually more the reason I use it for, other than just for fun, because I do have naturally pouty lips already) is that it will allow you to avoid the dreaded dehydrated or overly-stressed look. When I fail to have the time to drink enough water, or have a lot of things overwhelming me, my lips will get tighter than usual. If I pump once every few days, I have been able to completely avoid this look and maintain my lip size at its natural fullest. For this reason alone, I love the device.
You mentioned the nose clip. I know this is off topic, so if you don't mind posting in this thread: http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=14140&page=6 that would be great! How are you able to keep it on your nose for 12 hours of the day??? wow! Also, where on your nose are you placing it? I remember you said you are using the Tsunderella and the swimmer's clip. Thanks
Hey Foxy Princess! Here is the website link: http://www.cosmesearch.com/jolielips/index.html
Also, a side note: The JL does not require two hands to operate, so it is something you can do while multitasking. For example, I frequently use my JL while driving. I don't need to take my hands off the wheel, and I don't need to take my eyes off the road. I love anything that allows me to do other things along with it!
Anyway, to respond to some people:

1) your first point is actually not an advantage for me, yes it does not pull the skin around the mouth, but the hole is for my lips just too small. there is another sort of a pump which comes in 2 sizes, that is the trouble with jolie lips-its not one size fits all. this third type is called CandyLipz http://candylipz.com/lip-plumper-products/lip-pumps, but it is simply overpriced and at the moment not avalilable. luscious lips has also a little bit bigger hole.

(07-08-2013, 14:10)rateset Wrote: And my experience:
I have been using the pump since march very intensively, but it is not like the breast pumps that you can leave on for 30min or so, you have to repeat it as often as possible, but you cannot do longer sessions. So I tried doing it as often as possible and actually I think I do notice a difference, but it is not as much as I want, I still want a bit more. After doing it for a while the swelling stays longer around. I also do not know what would happen if I would stop pumping, I am not stopping at the moment since I want more and actually I am only trying to change my upper lip, since it is much thinner than the bottom lip and that part works.
I think for the mechanical methods you have to invest really a lot of time, but it does work. I am also using the clips to change the shape of my nose and it also works, but very, very slowly, it will take at least 6monts, maybe even a year and I am doing it like for at least 12hours every day.
