I think the "traditional" way is to add 4 or 5 to underbust to get band.. so yes you are 30/31 band, and then for every inch above it's 1 cup size. If you're 4-5 inches above, that makes you a D-DD cup?
But anyway, your boobs sound amazing.. I'm 26 underbust and I'm hoping to get where you are!
You know what's funny, though you are tech correct, my over bust would prob measure like a full "b cup" since I have broad shoulders. So the actual growth on my chest does not fully fill out to were it looks like a d cup. I look more like an average c cup the way it sits on me. If my shoulders weren't so broad, I would look like a d cup.
So measurement wise, sure I could possibly tech be a d cup but my chest has yet to fill out. In other words, I have gapping and they are still pointy and need to round out. They look small on me. Gals with smaller shoulders are lucky. A nice c cup would make them look like how I would with a d or e cup

Then my caboose is measuring 36.5 and I am petite. It doesn't help. An e cup would barely make me an hour glass or even top to bottom.
