I noticed this recently as well. I'm not on collagen at all, but I did recently start taking a multi-enzyme intended for energy AND another herb to help with circulation, again related to energy problems.. It has helped me with that and since the enzymes are the common link, I must assume that's what's doing it for the both of us.
Whatever it is, I definitely appreciate it. Like you I used to have to pee at BEST every hour, and that's if I was severely dehydrated! If I was hydrating properly every half hour was my norm, just like you. Nowadays, if NECESSARY, I could potentially hold it all day. Whereas I'd be in urgent need if I held it more than 10 to 15 minutes past the initial "need to go" urge before.
My pooping is maybe twice a day, but I don't eat large meals. I also used to be pretty much once a day. Or even less if I didn't get enough fiber on a given day, which happened far too often when I was a grounds keep and often really couldn't afford decent fiber.
