Wanted to share this, another large "tuberous"
The surgeon mentions that we're not necessarily tuberous, just a tight base - to me this means some relaxing massages and exercises would benefit. I'll see what else I can dig up Smile

LOL I am cracking up because I'm on that website! Under the post with photos; "Do I Have Tubular Breasts and Ptosis?" Hahaha.

From what I've understood through my years (ugh) of research about this, we didn't develop certain glands. Which can also make breastfeeding difficult or impossible.
Also, I've forgotten the word but there is some kind of "constricting fibrous ring" going on right under the breast. If we had a lift, they'd have to cut through the constriction. This is supposed to be a kind of tricky thing to do.

This is a website I found from a surgeon that really delves into the tubular breasts.

Heres a PDF with some photos if you're interested: http://cdn.intechopen.com/pdfs/33481/InTech-Tuberous_breast_clinical_evaluation_and_surgical_treatment.pdf

Edit: I just did a bit of re-reading. From what I can tell, for tuberous breasts theres a lot of fibrous tissue that goes around the inside of the areola that shouldn't be there. Having this tissue is what stops the milk ducts and fat from growing and making the "under boob". Also it stops the breast from filling out AROUND the areola. Instead, tuberous breasts have herniated areola / nipples from the breast growing outward. (which is what causes the sagging. rather than ground around and roundly, it just grows out.)
Now.. when I googled a bit, I read from a massage therapist website about how to be careful massaging the breasts because it can damage that fibrous tissue (that we have too much of).
Honestly, I think that our best shot is the noogleberry. HOPEFULLY as it applies suction to the tubular breast, it will help relieve some of the constriction on those fibers and help us "fill out" a bit more. But thats just my opinion. I guess time will tell
