Wish I could help more, but not only do I not use PC personally, but I also have no idea about the female cycle and what all these different phases are! I just remember seeing a chart where I believe estrogen dropped about halfway through, and then progesterone dropped about a week before "that time" of the month. >.<

I think Doll is right about PC postponing your period, when I was taking birth control continuously I started spotting/cramping on the day my period was supposed to start because my body was confused. The third day I finally used some PC (1 small dose) and it stopped the spotting totally.

ETA - oh I just realized I was reading an old post from page one thinking it was the last page, so you probably already figured this out lol!
