I'm excited to posted that I finally found the key to balancing everything out again. I took a break for several months and focused on finding out exactly what the chantix had broke and how to fix it. I came across the smallest clue by accident...by way of my migraine meds relpax. It has a warning that if you develop breast discharge you must stop using it. So I called my doc and said, but what if you already have discharge before use? That opened a flood gate of info. My mastitis earlier finally made sense, unfortunatley due to one doc for this and one doc for that, no one had put it all together. Back last winter I had a complete recovery from my headaches, hormone fluctuations, and the discharge. The only thing different was that I was using a tanning bed several days a week. When I stopped it all came back even worse! It turns out that the chantix did a number on several of my neurotransmitters throwing off my levels of dopamine, seratonin, and prolactin! Sunlight helps regulate these! Since sunlight is not always an option or best solution I have opted to go the most natural route I can. I've been on a regiment of msm, niacin, and 5-htp. I have been headache and hormone swing free since finding the right balance. Now that I have a solution, I will probably begin working my pm back in gradually and see how it all works together.
