		pushups work more of your arms and shoulders than your chest. i started doing push ups a year ago and am was able to move up from modified knee pushups to regular pushups. all the while, my arms and shoulders would always get sore and i barely felt anything from my chest.
a better workout for chest is dumbell flys. i get soreness on my chest everytime.
