Are you taking Siriporn PM? If you are then 400mg is not a "modest dose" at all. It is a very strong PM, unlike other PMs which one has to take in thousands of mg. Besides, stopping PM after ovulation is not like switching off the lights 
there's plenty of miroestrols and etc. floating around in your body So getting delay is "normal" in your case. You just probably delayed your ovulation. Besides, your body is adjusting to PM, let's see what happens next cycle. It may regulate itself and adjust to sudh a high dose.
And one more thing. If you use their lotion/serum throughout the cycle then you still get PM into your system. I know it is said that topicals usually don't have a systemic effect but they do. IMO topicals give most of the results.
