Hi,
Celution (stem cell) treatment means removing fat and putting some of it through the Cytori Celution machine to extract the stem cells from the fat. Apparently in an adult (i.e. not a foetus or placenta) stem cells are most abundant in fatty tissue. So the stem cells were in the fat naturally to start with they are not made by the machine. The stem cells are then mixed back in with the remaining fat so that when the fat is transferred the stem cells can grow into blood vessels and glandular tissue helping the fatty tissue to become part of the living breast rather than a dead lump of fat. This means that more of the fat survives than with a regular fat transfer. Dr Khan's website has this explanation:

Because I'm very small they could only get about 240cc out of each thigh so he put all of it through the machine instead of just a small amount. I was a bit put out that he only wanted to take from the outer thigh and not the inner thigh but he was quite correct in this as even having used Brava they could only fit about 220 / 230 cc into each breast (the skin can only accommodate so much as you get swelling from being pulled about). He is taking the inner thigh fat to give me a top up treatment totally free on Tuesday 23rd August. So in hindsight he definitely gave me the best advice from my point of view and from his point of view he is doing a second theatre day at his own expense. I think this is why the initial cost is so high, so if you factor in that you will get two treatments it is actually better value for money than elsewhere. Can't recommend him highly enough.
