Although I can understand what you are saying, I think you are worrying unnecessarily, myself. I don't see the difference between the info being a thread on its own, or being IN a thread, as it is now, on the same forum site.
I really don't think there can be any legal issue, all you've done, either way, is copy info from various open commercial websites and collated it into a list, plus currency conversions based on rates that you've stated. Nothing contentious or illegal about that.
As for competition laws, you are not promoting any one brand, nor are you running down any particular product, you are not preventing any one from offering their opinion or refusing to allow a different opinion ( you can't, you don't control the site). So unless you have a hidden financial allegiance to one of the suppliers, and I'm sure you don't, you can't possibly have done anything wrong in this context.
If any of the named suppliers wanted to publicly explain why they are so expensive, or why their product is better than somebody elses, etc, then surely we all benefit, as long as it doesn't get out of hand? If that should happen ( I doubt that it will) then Eve can either lock the thread or delete it, as she chooses.
As for a thread title, something like " PM supplier cost comparison " perhaps?
