I really want to lose weight (like 7-8 pounds) and I'm thinking of doing it slow and steady at a rate of about 1.5 pounds a week. I'm really concerned that this might affect my growth. I only have enough time to fit in a 300 calorie work out 6 days a week and so I would like to take my calorie intake down to about 1350 calories a day. The protein intake is not a problem as I could easily get 100 grams off of 1200 cals.
My 2nd option would be to lose about 1 pound a week by eating 1600 calories and working out every day. What do you guys think?
