I've had reasonable success with it in the past, but that was pre kids when I also lifted heavy.
A BIG thing was being done with having kids before I started again, and we're done on that front. Bittersweet but pregnancy wasn't my cup of tea like it is for some, and I do respect the women that love that season of life.
I'll be honest, I'm half scared of starting this journey again, as I've had no physical PMS outside of the occasional pimple and no cramps for 5 years, but, I've been off BC, went pretty much as organic/natural as I can afford for detergent/cleaning, self care stuff, food, etc. so I know I'm in a better spot that way. I'm also now in a better mental place of starting this journey compared to 12 years ago, back then it was to find a man, where as now I have one that worships me how I am, but wants me to be the happiest in my own skin, which means I have someone who will appreciate the small changes or keep encouraging me.
