Noogleberry professionals: areola stretching.

I have found that taping does help with keeping the areola from stretching out, at least for me. The key is so cover the entire areola with tape when you pump so that none of the areola skin gets pulled. I use a medical tape I found at a drug store, it sticks pretty well. I've also ordered some silicone nipple covers, that I plan to tape down as well, which might be easier on the actual nipple skin than the adhesive. But in the meantime, I tape away. I also put one long piece of tape from the nipple up to the top of my breast so that when I pump, the underboob is pulled more than the top. I find this creates more suction on every other part of the breast instead of the nipple area, which is what I'm going for. It adds another step, and it's not exactly comfortable, (especially the tape removal at the end of a session - that's a party.) but the results are beginning (Slowly, slowly!) to speak for themselves.

I'm no doctor, but I think the balloon metaphor is flawed, because we can manipulate our skin to stretch in certain areas and not others, whereas the latex in a balloon doesn't work that way. It's like jowls on a jawline, how can that one single little area of skin stretch and the rest not? Same thing.

OMG! *hugs* thank you so much! see, this is why I like posting on here I get to see other people's methods and pick their brain! I am so appreciative of what you wrote-- I, too am trying to gain more underboob, so that is a great way to achieve it! An old friend of mine on here used to lay with her back arched, so her breasts were almost, like, hanging upside down? (yano what I mean? lol) which pulled the underboob out more. I was going to try that but this way sounds a bit more comfortable! so thank you Smile

I am going to try to use the tape like you suggest and cross my fingers. I will be monitoring it as well. I think what you said is true, that we can manipulate it. That's what I always thought.. but she had me doubting it. I think we know the ins and outs of NB more than the people who work for it! lol but maybe she couldnt give me an objective answer bc it's different for all people. All in all, thank you! Smile
