Politically, likely true. Easier to control woman, or the emotional, and the implication of the third image (impotence) is that the "dangerous maleness" is under control... Could see similar in cuckold forums, though often it's locked up in Chastity...
But there's also the fourth option of "some of column A, Some from Column B." ;-) The Transgender Triangle should be added. :-)
