Herbs causing fatigue

I am not on a routine just yet I am just testing out how my body reacts to herbs. Despite the talk here about weight gain and celllulite I experienced nothing of that kind with Saw Palmetto, but I swear taking that herb tires me out! I expect that from the fenugreek but from the saw Palmetto too?
I am yet to try fennel I will this week...
I am also thinking of trying a routine for a week to see if the tired/fatigued feeling goes away if not the herb route may not be it for me...

I've been taking saw palmetto for 5 weeks now, but only felt the fatigue when I increased it this 5th week. I have since gone back down to my original dosage. I don't know if that's an option for you, but just thought I'd give you my experience.
Good luck, annie

thanks Annie,
for me it is official, Saw Palmetto sends me into serious drowsyland. I thought I was going to sleep my brains out...I took the extract of Saw Palmetto, I really like the taste of it, its like taking a shot of alcohol...the bottle says to take 30 drops 3times a day I take it only once...and oh man do I feel it. I feel it with a vengeance. If I add SP to my routine I might take it only at night.

I'm taking saw palmetto and haven't noticed any effect on my energy levels, but I think it could potentially cause fatigue as from what I've heard it blocks testosterone.

I would think that because women produce so little testosterone anyway it's not going to make any difference. Maybe if saw palmetto makes you tired it's for another reason completely.
