Emu Oil
March 6 2006 at 3:06 PM Jackie (no login)
I am thinking of adding Fenugreek to emu oil for my massage. Would that be good? If so, which would be better to use the liquid extract or the capsules?
Thanks!!

The Emu is a great choice and Id say go with the liqued form if u can find it and if not u could use Fennel instead. The powdered caps can be used however u have to deal with more mixing and the gritty residue.

Thanks Stephanie, one more question

Would fennel be just as good to use as fenugreek? I noticed some people say they don't care for the smell of fenugreek.
I appreciate all your input

Fennel is considered secondary in phytoestrogens to Fenugreek but I dont think theres a signifigant difference in strength and FYI someone just mentioned that u can get both these products from Greenbush online.

I used some emu oil I got from ebay last night and it made me feel sick. It smells like chicken fat (like when you cook a roast dinner) and I used too much. I could smell it all night. I'm not sure if I can hack it for very long. It probabaly isn't even emu oil seeing as I got it from Ebay, but then perhaps it is as an emu is a bird :-)
